Is your favorite NBC TV series returning or has it already been cancelled? What TV shows have been renewed for another season? How many episodes have been ordered? Here’s a list of all of the regular NBC series that have aired (or are expected to air) during the 2011-12 season (roughly September 2011 through August 2012).
Using this “cheat sheet” you can tell where your favorite NBC TV series stands; how many episodes are in the current season, when it’ll be back on the air and, of course, if it’s already been renewed or cancelled.
If you can’t find a particular NBC program on this list, it may have been cancelled last season (2010-11) or perhaps the one before (2009-10). For a list of cancelled shows from all networks, you can go here. It may also be possible that we missed something so feel free to let us know in the comments below.
NOTE: This page is no longer being updated. You can find newer versions here.
Here are listings for the other networks: ABC | CBS | The CW | FOX
What do you think? Which NBC TV shows won’t be renewed? Are there any that you wish would be cancelled?

Please renew Whitney it is really funny.
Please renew Whitney it is really funny.
Harry’s Law is good. Please keep it!
The firm is good I enjoyed it maybe its just in a bad time slot its well written
I LOVE Parenthood! Whitney has begun to grow on me too…I wasn’t crazy about her show at first, but it really is GREAT! If Michael Scott would just come back to Scranton I would rally around The Office too.
I gave up on NBC after they cancelled heroes and American Dreams.
So The only shows I care for on there are Harry’s Law and 30 Rock.
WDYTYA is too good for Network TV and SVU died when Christopher Meloni left.
Let The Office end. Take it out back and put it out of it’s misery in stead of letting it die a slow death from the cancer of banality that has consumed it wholly.
Parenthood, Harry’s Law and SVU are the best shows on NBC….please keep them! I mostly watch CBS now but would come back to NBC if they had some funny sitcoms (oddly Witney writes Two Broke Girls on CBS which I LOVE! But Witney blows…go figure)……I love the character driven aspect of Parenthood. Give us less reality and stuff like 30 Rock and Parks and Rec and more like Two Broke Girls………………
I love the show parenthood. It is so well written and acted. One of the best shows on TV right now. Please don’t cancel this show. It is a great quality show. We need more dramas that are well written. I think there are to many crime and police shows on tv. There is to much crime and negitivity when we need to see positive and inspiring shows instead.
I so agree
I dont know how you cant love Whitney its the funniest show on tv
Thought Law&Order SVU was ending ? I mean I thought they were only doing 13 episodes and it ended. It’s great news they renewed Grimm . It’s too bad that it’s on Fridays when Supernatural is on. It’s also too bad Fox is putting The Finder on Fridays too cause I don’t have a DVR and I can only watch 1 show at a time.
apparently christina thinks she’s above all of us lower life forms that enjoy “are you there, chelsea” and s1-8 of 2 1/2 men.
it’s too bad they took 7th heaven off the air. i guess she’s hasn’t recovered yet.
perhaps they should just replace all of the vulgar shows with “davey and goliath” reruns.
Loving the comedies they added this year. They have hit a homerun with every single one of them. I find myself laughing more at Chelsea than I ever have at her standup and other show’s content. And Up All Night and Whitney both surprised me with how amazing they are. It really is too bad they got rid of Friends with Benefits, as that show was really great, but they can’t be expected to be smart enough to have understood that I suppose.
Please get rid of Are You There, Chelsea. It’s just crude–the lowest form of comedy–although some may see that as a reason for it to stay on, as is evidenced by the staying power of 2 1/2 Men.
PLEASE, PLEASE renew Parenthood. Our whole family LOVES this show! Such great story lines, realistic, and fantastic actors!!
