How well will this team work together in the first season of the NCIS: Hawai’i TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like NCIS: Hawai’i is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. A CBS procedural drama, the NCIS: Hawai’i TV series is the latest entry in the NCIS franchise and stars Vanessa Lachey, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Noah Mills, Tori Anderson, Kian Talan, and Alex Tarrant. Jane Tennant (Lachey) is the first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor. She has thrived and risen through the ranks by equal parts confidence and strategy in a system that has pushed back on her every step of the way. Her unwavering team of specialists includes junior field agent Lucy Tara (Al-Bustami); cyber intelligence specialist Ernie Malik (Antoon); second-in-command Jesse Boone (Mills); Defense Intelligence Agency Special Agent Kate Whistler (Anderson); and Kai Holman (Tarrant), a new NCIS agent. Tennant and her team balance duty to family and country while investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security, and the mysteries of the island paradise itself.

Very poor acting! All the way around. Weak script!
Not a fan , quit watching after three shows
I like the new NCIS Hawaii. The storylines are great. I like it more than the NCIS Los Angeles, NCIS. But NCIS New Orleans was the best one from them all. I don’t mind a 2 season for NCIS Hawaii
Pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think Vanessa Lachey would be a good actor, but she really does a great job. Hopefully the show will just get better and better. Love Jason Atoon’s character.
We watched the first episode. Didn’t like it. Won’t watch again.
I gave the show a second chance. Still don’t enjoy. The main actress is a lousy actress and has absolutely no personality. The characters appear as not enjoying working together. How can this show stay on the air when great shows like Seal Team is moving to a streaming channel. Bring back the great Hawaii 5 O. Don’t think I will give the show a third chance.

Cannot get into this, should’ve kept New Orleans with its great music and storyline.
NCIS: Hawaii is BORING!! No humor at all. Humor is that relief switch that always helps a show. Get new writers! Let the cast look like they enjoy their jobs and support each other. Make us care, because, my husband and I do not care if it’s cut this season. Better pick it up. I blame the writers!
The show is very weak,either cancel, get new writers & actors,better yet, bring back the old Hawaii five o !
I think NCIS Hawaii is very good but needs a better time or day slot.It needs to be able to grow with less competetion to take off and get better notority.Please give it a chance as all Hawaii shows in the past have shown great ratings.I do not think Mondays would be a good fit for a good show like this and maybe a different time slot as well.I would Not put this up against Chicago night and FBI Nights.TY
Slow…lack of character development and like ability. Not using the Hawaii scenery . Could be shot anywhere. Boring lackluster script and characters. Two thumbs down. Bring back Hawaii five O or ncis New Orleans!

The show got better as it has progressed. Vanessa does a fairly good job in the lead and I like that they have a female lead. Yes, the show could be better and more realistic. But for entertainment purposes it’s not too bad.
I was looking forward to the show. I always enjoyed Hawaii 5 0 and even Magnum PI is much better. The lead actress was terrible in my opinion. The other actors should be on a lousy daytime serial. Not very good acting. Grace Park from Hawaii 5 O would have been a much better fit for the show. I forced myself to watch the entire show, don’t know if I will watch again. I have no idea why the short scene of the two women kissing was even part of the show. To me it made no sense. Oh well… Read more »
