A tip of the hat to veteran reporter, columnist, and TV historian Marc Berman who is launching a new venture with his TV news website called Programming Insider.
Early in his career, Berman worked in programming and research at NBC, QVC, Paramount, and Viacom. From 1999-2011, Berman was the Senior Editor for Mediaweek and wrote The Programming Insider column and hosted a daily podcast.
From there, he became the Editor-in-Chief for TV Media Insights (with Douglas Pucci as a Contributing Editor) where he continued to write his column, report on TV news and ratings, and host a daily podcast/videocast.
With Berman’s new site, he plans to keep readers up-to-date “via our interactive website and a series of daily emails designed for all facets of the broadcasting landscape — including network, digital, cable, syndication, and social media.”
Berman’s newsletters and video/podcasts are always enjoyable and informative, filled with news, his personal opinions, and fun trivia.
He’s also a heckuva nice guy and I wish him all the best in this new venture!
This was so awesome of you. Thank you!
