The race is over for Kevin and his garage team. Netflix has cancelled The Crew so, there won’t be a second season for this multi-camera comedy series.
Created by showrunner Jeff Lowell and directed by Andy Fickman, The Crew stars Kevin James, Jillian Mueller, Freddie Stroma, Gary Anthony Williams, Dan Ahdoot, and Sarah Stiles. In the comedy, crew chief Kevin Gibson (James) runs a NASCAR garage. When the owner steps down and passes the team off to his Stanford-educated daughter, Catherine Spencer (Mueller), Kevin finds himself at odds with the tech-reliant millennials she starts bringing in to modernize the team.
The series launched in February of this year with 10 half-hour episodes. There won’t be a second season for The Crew but Netflix has reportedly made a deal with James to develop a single-camera comedy series that he will star in and produce.
The streaming service has also dropped comedies Bonding, Country Comfort, and Mr. Iglesias.
Wow it makes no sense to me why are you take a great show that’s funny clean good story plot and cancel it without even finishing any of the story characters I agree with some of the other post that Netflix starts a good show and then cancel it without finishing about ready to cancel my subscription very disappointed
Netflix finally has an original series I’m interested in and of course it’s cancelled .

Bring back the crew
Very disappointed with Netflix for dropping The Crew. Please stop bringing on all the reality TV and give us old fashioned comedy shows. It’s one of the reasons I was willing to pay extra for Netflix. But keep cancelling comedy shows that the whole family can enjoy together, and we’ll drop you!

Im losing interest in NETFLIX cause every time I LIKE a show it gets cancelled or only has a couple seasons. And to top it off its TAKES WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG for the next season and the 8-10 epsiode seasons just are losing my interest altogether. Why why Netflix… why cancel The Crew? My husband and I were actually laughing aloud at this good clean comedy. Maybe collectively, we should cancel Netflix since the executives mucked this up big time.
Why why Netflix maybe if we collectively cancel our subscription then we will get good comedy shows like, The Crew back on another network. My husband and I were just getting to enjoy this show.
This was laugh-out-loud funny. Why in the world would they cancel a show like this? I just don’t get it. Kevin James is always great and the rest of the cast was perfect! What does it take to keep a good show around these days?

The should not have cancelled it. It was a great show – funny and finally something decent for the family. Also there were a lot of cliffhangers at the end of the first season. The need to continue the series.

This was a great break from all the drama, on and off the little screen.
