The race is over for Kevin and his garage team. Netflix has cancelled The Crew so, there won’t be a second season for this multi-camera comedy series.
Created by showrunner Jeff Lowell and directed by Andy Fickman, The Crew stars Kevin James, Jillian Mueller, Freddie Stroma, Gary Anthony Williams, Dan Ahdoot, and Sarah Stiles. In the comedy, crew chief Kevin Gibson (James) runs a NASCAR garage. When the owner steps down and passes the team off to his Stanford-educated daughter, Catherine Spencer (Mueller), Kevin finds himself at odds with the tech-reliant millennials she starts bringing in to modernize the team.
The series launched in February of this year with 10 half-hour episodes. There won’t be a second season for The Crew but Netflix has reportedly made a deal with James to develop a single-camera comedy series that he will star in and produce.
The streaming service has also dropped comedies Bonding, Country Comfort, and Mr. Iglesias.
Just finished the Crew and loved it. Can’t believe Netflix is canceling things that are actually clean and the whole family can watch without holding on to the mute or fast forward buttons. Way to go Netflix.

Oh man!!! I just found this show and binged only to find out it’s been canceled!! It’s cute and funny. Not enough shows like this available.

Should not have cancelled, I didn’t even know this show existed until a cpl days ago, need more advertising and it wouldn’t have been cancelled. Too bad.
It was great clean comedy that we have needed for awhile now very disappointing. Very few comedies that you can watch with the whole family.
Oh my god! You morons at Netflix keep some of the dumbest shows going for way too long and you are cancelling The Crew after just 1 season. You didn’t even give it a chance. I’m seriously wondering what’s going on in your heads. You people are so worried about being politically correct and racial sensitivity that you will run the dumbest shows for way too long and get rid of the shows that are actually bringing in tv viewers. Makes no sense at all.

Show was great! No filth though, so we’re the minority. They only want to keep the show if it brings in huge numbers. How bout giving it a few seasons to see what kind of traction it can gain!!!!
It’s just RUDE, to end a show like that. At least do one more show where Kevin and Beth get married… like they should have done!
Its too bad, me and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed the crew. we loved the cast and the jokes.
Why cancel? My family where enjoying the comedy and looking forward to for more season. This was a great comedy series. Bring it back.
It was so refreshing to be able to sit and watch this as a family. Only to have it cancelled. Good wholesome comedy that makes everyone laugh. It was something to look forward to on family night. It makes no sense to cancel such a great show. Another reason why we are considering canceling our membership. You cancel the good shows and leave the bad. It happened all the time and the dumbest shows are going for repeated seasons unlike this one which should have been renewed for at least 5 more.
