The race is over for Kevin and his garage team. Netflix has cancelled The Crew so, there won’t be a second season for this multi-camera comedy series.
Created by showrunner Jeff Lowell and directed by Andy Fickman, The Crew stars Kevin James, Jillian Mueller, Freddie Stroma, Gary Anthony Williams, Dan Ahdoot, and Sarah Stiles. In the comedy, crew chief Kevin Gibson (James) runs a NASCAR garage. When the owner steps down and passes the team off to his Stanford-educated daughter, Catherine Spencer (Mueller), Kevin finds himself at odds with the tech-reliant millennials she starts bringing in to modernize the team.
The series launched in February of this year with 10 half-hour episodes. There won’t be a second season for The Crew but Netflix has reportedly made a deal with James to develop a single-camera comedy series that he will star in and produce.
The streaming service has also dropped comedies Bonding, Country Comfort, and Mr. Iglesias.
I just found the Crew and loved it! Why cancel it??
I’m a huge fan of the comedy series crew. I’m so so disappointed that it is not returning for a second season that is a huge bummer.
Just found this show in Aus, watched it in 1 afternoon, went looking for when season 2 might be coming, so disappointing, you keep absolute cr$p on and get rid of something light and hilarious.
I watch everything with Kevin James cause I know it will be good and he did not disappoint. Netflix should have had more faith.

I’m very disappointed that the crew isn’t coming back watches the whole in 2 days , it just left us hanging. Netflix always does this hype people up on a series and let it go after it’s first season.
I really am quite disappointed that there won’t be a second season of the crew. It sort of left us hanging and I really did enjoy the humor.

I love everything Kevin Janes is in and iceberg watched the series the crew probably 20 times already. Wished it continued!!!!!!!

The first couple of episodes were a bit rough, but then The Crew found it’s comedy rhythm. I became hooked and was hopeful there would be a second season. Very disappointed that Netflix did not give this gem a chance for others to find out how entertaining it was.
Liked the Crew very much. Sad to see it go.
I’m sad to see the crew go, it was funny and a good show to watch just like the other shows that left. These are good family shows to watch. Why do y’all make a show that’s good then stop it by 1 season.

I am totally bummed a second season of the crew isn’t scheduled. I really enjoyed it and one of the few I can watch more than once. I felt the cast was funny and looking forward to another season !!
This show was funny.. loved it. I’m sad to see that it’s not gonna go on for another season.. I binged watched the whole season & looked up when the next season would be showing only to find out it was cancelled
like sorry but this was a very dumb call, it was an amazing family show you can just sit there and binge watch it for hours without being bored for even a second….. way to go Netflix
