What do you think? Do you still like The Walking Dead TV series? How many seasons do you think it should run?
Good to have TWD back but….last episode was BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWD is by far the best show on TV in a longtime. Hopefully AMC can keep the quality high and give us several more seasons. Also looking forward to the spin ofshow getting started.
Take maybe one semester of psychology and then maybe you might understand how fragile people really are….I don’t think you realize how much we need stability, structure, and many other things that I won’t get into which should be obvious unless your a kid and you haven’t gotten up enough to understand how fragile this world and the people in it really are….not all of them obviously. This show I think is being conservative as far as showing how far peoples minds would go if we truly faced something like what these people are faced with. Most people would not… Read more »
sorry the word gotten was spell fixed by my wonderfully not smart phone…..the word was supposed to be grown……Not gotten…..lol…technology…..like us it has its flaws.
Agreed, people are so fragile, it’s a good thing undead cannot exist. Take me personally, I write an original character who can survive this sort of crud, but if I myself were a character in TWD and if I managed to make it to the end of Season 1, I would have stayed with Dr. Jenner in the CDC when it blew up.
Read the original comic book and you will be surprised, this show isn’t good as appear…
Watching the Living Dead is a real adventure from week to week. The latest one, Nov 2, 2014 was entirely different than any other LD show that I have seen. You can almost be assured that you will be surprised with each new episode. I guess if something like this happened it would be World Wide, and right now they seem to be jumping around a l0t after many weeks of the Penitentiary setting last year. I like how the writers can really go afield on their episodes. Right now it seems to be the most popular show on TV… Read more »
I’ve been watching the series since it started. I continue to have a love/hate view of it. Although I love the premise and most of the main characters, I can’t stand the fact our “Walking Heroes” only come across deranged, hillbilly white trash over & over. It would be refreshing if the writers could instill a little more science into the episodes. I hope that eventually they will come across a few fire chiefs, project engineers, college professors, medical doctors, military officers, park rangers, city managers, aviation pilots, high school football coaches…anybody who still has a clear thinking head who… Read more »
I have been addicted to this show since season one. I realize that at 60 yrs old I am not in your primary demographics, but I am a huge FAN and I have not missed an episode and often have to watch again to catch some of the hidden inuendos and it is good even the 2nd or 3rd time watching the same episode. I find myself breathlessly waiting for the next eopisode. The cast is phenominal. I like all of the characters and hate to lose any one of them. Of course I will be devistated if we ever… Read more »
wow! those are incredible ratings. with the exception of NCIS and the big bang theory, i can’t think of any other shows that come close.
Love this one!
The writing on this show is 2nd to none! I am continually impressed at the multi layers of meaning to any and everything. There are many theories in our famiky (I have older teenagers). One is the disease is us being eaten alive by our sin. The desperation they all feel to hold on to just a shred of humanity is captivating. As far as the season premiere… I did have to skip thru the trough scene. My 20 warned me. I know what happened but I did not need that image in my head. Pun not intended. Maybe my… Read more »
Sorry Jennifer, But, I have found the writing to be only average in many instances. Let us not forget the prison showdown with the governor. I fully expected Rick to have a great Mel Gibson – Braveheart speech when he was confronted by the governor and his tank. Unfortunately, he only pee-ed his pants and wimpered. Furthermore, a lot of the one on one dialogue in certain scenes remains empty.
I am happy to agree to disagree with you on the writing. But I would like to make this one point. The fact that you did not get your braveheart speech and instead a more in-depth look into the internal struggle that Rick was going thru should tell you it is original and thought provoking.
Sorry there meme but I totally agree with Jennifer. I just recently attended the Rhode Island Sci-Fi convention and having listened to the actor who plays Herschel give his thoughts on that moment where he had the blade at his neck where Rick gave his speech….he reaffirmed what I already knew, The look in his eyes as Rick gave this speech said it all, And Scott(Herschel) confirmed it. He started that as Herschel he felt or was portraying in those few short moments he gazed into Ricks eyes something which I think words cannot fully express. It was part elation,… Read more »
Walking Dead S5 Ep1
was prolly the most disturbing episode I hev ever scene
Dont get me wrong I LOVE the show; but in season 4 when Rick and co DEFEATED the Governor WOODBURY a REAL sanctuary COULD HAEV BEEN A PERMANENT HOME; yet they all continue on looking for XANADU; yet get TERMINUS!
Has NO ONE seen this besides me???????????????????
WTF ?
If you remember the governor pretty much destroyed Woodbury after his first defeat by Rich and company. If you rewatch the episode that was completely devoted to the governor (the episode where he was living with the family who had the little girl) in the first 5 minutes of the episode it shows the governor returning to Woodbury and knocking down the walls and pretty much destroying the place.
After that Woodbury was not an option to live.
Ehm… Governor burned Woodbury to the ashes. There was no sanctuary anymore.
Rick should declare: “The next town that we come to, we will find a 2 story bank building (with few windows) and make that our sanctuary. Most of the food has already been pillaged, but, probably not all the metal chain link fencing, metal poles & mortar. We’re gonna build another fence around a near by field and that will be where we will grow our crops. We’ll then use the top of the bank to set up our watch tower and rain-catch for fresh water when it rains.”
The governor destroyed Woodbury. They have just been reunited and now half split. They are on a mission, plus trying to survive the crazies. Its not just abt setting up a community. They think there’s a cure. And we have had drs, lawyers etc. What are u wathing. Two drs,one at Woodbury, one at the prison. Now one where beth is. Plus cops. Andrea and michonne were lawyers. White trash really. Guess what it doesn’t matter what color u are or ur former profession.if you can’t fight and use a gun ur dead.idt u really watch much. Thats ok.those of us… Read more »
I wacthed the walking Dead since season 1 to now and never miss an episode really I haven’t but it’s getting interesting the new seasons.
I believe the walking dead will run till 12 seasons I heard but it’s based on the comics it is #1 tv show on AMC I hope it it is really popular. 🙂
At least until I die. It could be this decade or not!!! It is the goriest show that I have ever watched, but most of the people getting killed are already dead. I am amazed at the amount of people of all ages that are watching this show. I have followed it for a few years, and try to never miss an episode. Makes you wonder how it would be to live like that some day in the future.
Hey Ron,
Oh my…a hospital, with supplies, in Atlanta, with an intelligent doctor…uh oh…of course it’s run by a crazy, sadistic, femme Nazi lawwoman. Good grief.
Attention: “All the decent living people please stand over here. All the hillbilly, outlaw, degenerate, criminal types over there.”
I guess it would be EASY to predict that if the writers and producers of the Walking Dead were to be in this situation….they’d ALL be dead after episode One.
