What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Cinemax cable channel, Warrior stars Andrew Koji, Kieran Bew, Celine Buckens, Olivia Cheng, Dianne Doan, Dean Jagger, Langley Kirkwood, Hoon Lee, Christian McKay, Dustin Nguyen, Joe Taslim, Chen Tang, Jason Tobin, Miranda Raison, Joanna Vanderham, Tom Weston-Jones, and Perry Yung. The series follows Chinese immigrant Ah Sahm (Koji), who arrives in San Francisco in 1878, during the Tong Wars, to look for his sister, Mai Ling (Doan). As a gifted fighter, it’s not long before one of the most powerful organized crime families (known as a tong) in Chinatown recruits Ah Sahm to be its hatchet man. Season two follows rival Chinatown tongs, the Hop Wei and the Long Zii, as they fight for dominance amidst the growing anti-Chinese racism that threatens to destroy them all. After barely surviving last season’s disastrous showdown, Ah Sahm is back with the Hop Wei and determined to wreak vengeance on Long Zii’s new leader. The series is based on the writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Warrior averaged a 0.01 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 70,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 63% in the demo and down by 47% in viewership. Find out how Warrior stacks up against other Cinemax TV shows.

Will Cinemax cancel or renew Warrior for season three? In early 2020, it was announced that Cinemax is getting out of the original series business so, unless another outlet picks this series up, it looks like season two is the end. I loved watch the show. Andrew koji is great actor and the others also. Watch the reruns 3 times. Ill buy the 2 seasons. Fantastic show

Warrior is my all-time favorite show and NEVER EVER want to see it cancelled… I mean the acting, stunts, choreography, drama, and suspense is SUPERB!!! I bought the monthly ($23.02) payment for Cinemax on Hulu because of WARRIOR.
If Cinemax decides not to bring them back for Season 3!?
I will cancel Cinemax, and rather watch WARRIOR on another channel.

Warrior is a groundbreaking show that showcases the brilliant writing and original show concept of the late Kung Fu master and actor Bruce Lee. It features a dynamic Asian-American cast that is allowed to depict their 3-dimensional and fully developed roles, instead old tropes and stereotypes. Despite the filming delays due to the Pandemic, this show has a devoted following and should be picked up by another cable channel, perhaps IFC or Sundance, that pride themselves on equal representation in media. AMC would get a whole new demographic in viewership by signing Warrior to their lineup.

Hope to see it continue … we loved Badlands as well , and were disappointed when it was cancelled .
These series are well choreographed, graphics are surperb, costumes are fab, staging, editing

I love the show. I really hope another network takes it over. I think Netflix should, they took Cobra Kai, and with all my respects to Cobra Kai, Warrior is a far better TV show.
Good show with a reasonable story. Like the actors, fight scenes brutal and the snippets of sex, nudity enticing. Season 3 required

I would watch Season 3 on any regular TV programming or if it was Netflix or Amazon.
Unfortunately I’ll be cancelling HBO in February because my cable is getting too expensive.
Warrior is a great TV program.
This is one of the best shows on TV! Can’t Hulu or Prime PLEASE pick it up.
