Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of A Million Little Things averaged a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.88 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 16% in the demo and down by 1% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but typically the higher-rated series are renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. What do you think? Do you think that the A Million Little Things TV show should have been renewed for a sixth season? Are you sorry that this ABC TV series ends with year five?
I love this show. All the characters are interesting and likable, except Peter, of course.
Regina and Gary are my favorites, but all are great.
Please bring it back!
My heart actually hurts over this! In a world where there is so much divide, violence, hatred, and fear; This show offers a million little things that you can do to give hope and inspire through the very most trying of times in life. So many poignant circumstances, so many life lessons demonstrated, and so much relatable content with a phenomenal group of actors who make you feel and believe every moment! This is one of the best reality (what’s really happening in our world) TV shows! We all know sex and drugs and rock and roll (and guns) sells,… Read more »
If anyone has watched episode 12 from this past week, it seems like they were ending the show but im only half way through the episode but immediately looked!!
This show depicts things that happen in real life, not another crime show. It deserves several more seasons
I am heartbroken. I finally find a show I love. I hope someone else like Netflix picks it up because they realize how special this show is.
I agree. This is a very special show. Maybe someone will pick it up.
I am so disappointed there is no season 6. After covid I was left in financial ruins and had to cancel all of my cable and satellite so had no access to be watching shows like this. At this time I have found ways to stream a million little things and I am hooked and in love with these characters. This show is real and down to earth and relatable. I just wanted to add a possibility as to why your ratings dropped. I’m sure I’m not the only person that had to sacrifice things like cable for financial reasons… Read more »
I am so sad too. This is my absolute favorite. From what I’m reading, this show isn’t canceled. It was announced in the beginning that Season 5 is The End. Just one more Episode, very sad!
This show reminds me of “30 Something” from the late 80’s and “American Dreams” from the early 2000’s. Same type of wholesome, feel good programming.
I wish both could come back – at the very least in syndication!
Bring it on back, please?!! With all the doom and gloom programming on TV these days we really need our one hour a week, “Feel Good”, ”something to look forward to” program.
Season 6, please!!!!
ABSOLUTLY
Come on! Please renew this wonderful show that touches on so many social issues. If the network didn’t give it a 4-6 month break between seasons, and during seasons when there is a Special on ABC, put it on the night of AMLT, switch the night AMLT is on, which they’ve done several times, AMLT would have higher ratings!!!!
I love this show!!!!
So wrong to end this show! To think people aren’t watching when so many watch on Hulu the day AFTER it airs is ridiculous! One of the best shows on prime time tV right now! I for one see a whole lot more to come for this series! Don’t give up now!!
Come on writers, there has to be more in your heads to have a season six. This show is to good to end. PLEASE renew!
This show is my new Friends show that you don’t see in real life anymore. I’m so disappointed to hear it’s over.
Iam SO sad to see the show isn’t going to have a 6th season.
Im sure the writers could get a little more creative. Booooo
It was a great show while it lasted, but there are only so many good themes to proceed further.
