The Adventures of Puss in Boots is back. This week, Netflix announced season four of the animated series debuts later this month.

Based on the character from the Shrek movie franchise, the action-adventure comedy follows the sword-fighting cat as he protects the city of San Lorenzo from invaders. The voice cast includes Eric Bauza, Jayma Mays, Paul Rugg, Carlos, Alazraqui, and Laraine Newman.

Season four of The Adventures of Puss in Boots premieres on December 16th.
