Incorporated Cancelled by Syfy; No Season Two
The first season of Incorporated averaged a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 493,000 viewers. Out of the 15 Syfy TV shows we’re currently tracking, it ranks in ninth place when we sort the ratings by the 18-49 demo, and 12th in terms of total audience size. Keeping that in mind, the cancellation does not come as much of a surprise.
What do you think? Did you watch the first season of Incorporated? Did you want Syfy to renew this TV show for a second season? Sound off in the comments.
Please bring it back, very good series and closer to reality than you expect
Not the first good Syfi show cancelled because it bit a little too close to the bone. The evilness may have been a bit over the top but profit before people is a fact of capitalism and business dosen’t care to have it rubbed in their nose weekly. I liked the show so too bad.
Enjoyed show-hate to see it leave-should have a little more depth of charactor development,f
Incorporated started off so well, and the premise was intriguing. However, the main character, Ben Larson , was not likeable at all. There was no justification for all the evil acts he committed, including murder, just to get his lost love out of the life she voluntarily chose for herself. He ruined careers, families, and used his wife in order to get what he wanted. The epitome of selfishness. Who could embrace a protagonist that was so narcissistic? While his wife runs a clinic trying to do some good, he deceives her at every turn. All his schemes would have… Read more »
Thanks to the dvr I was able to collect the series and am just about finished binging through. I decided to do a bit of research about how the show was received since I’ve had every synapse of my mind crackling with awe of the futurism the likes I haven’t seen since “Caprica”, another failed show of ideas which is very much what “Incorporated” is about. I was reminded of 1975’s “Rollerball” with its “Corporation VS The People” futurist concept that centered around the manipulation of sports heroes for ratings, profits and the control of hearts and minds. It all… Read more »
I thought about this show for weeks after finishing it, very intriguing and I’d love to know what happens next. Very disappointed that it’s cancelled, my aunt recommended the show and at first the title didn’t hook me, but once you watch the first episode you binge watch the entire season! Bring it back!
Excellent writing. Superior strategy within the characters. It taps into what we are capable of when we desire something or someone. It pushes television beyond laugh tracks. How can this not be renewed? It is a shame.
******* hell! God damn, son of a *****.
Bring it back!
Season one was very cpativating…and relating with the new occurances in the current status of our world…BRING BACK INCOPERATED
Please bring back incorporated…..so many shows that are renewed are not even worth a second episode……what’s going on! So many people I know all recommended this well written, captivating series. Hopefully will come back.
I’m so disappointed. I just started watching this show a week ago and was hooked and binge watched the entire season in 2 days! I was so looking fwd to season 2
SyFy managers deserve to go to jail! The ratings are an absolute fake and have no real meaning other that for corrupted managers to justify their dirty business actions. Enough is enough! Yes, Incorporated is an expensive sci-fi tv show because high quality requires people effort doing their job and employees and producers working on Incorporated really deserve to deliver their product to customers, which are many millions worldwide despite the fake ratings lies! SyFy is a scam and its managers are criminals! Most Hollywood and studios/tv networks managers are way more corrupted than the ones depicted on the Incorporated… Read more »
I am extremely disappointed that the show has been canceled. It is so relevant and engaging. Travesty.
I am a 50+ women and I really was entertained by this show and would love to see it come back. Do I get a vote if I am not in the 18-49 demographic
I hate when they cancel a series, just when you were getting into it. I would like to of known what was going to happen next. I hope they reconsider.
