What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, the Rebel TV show is inspired by the current life of activist Erin Brockovich and stars Katey Sagal, John Corbett, James Lesure, Lex Scott Davis, Tamala Jones, Ariela Barer, Kevin Zegers, Sam Palladio, and Andy Garcia. Annie “Rebel” Bello (Sagal) is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, brilliant, and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies herself to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost.

Telly’s Take
Will ABC cancel or renew Rebel for season two? ABC could use some new drama series and they gave it a plum timeslot, behind top-rated drama Grey’s Anatomy. However, the show doesn’t hold onto many of those viewers. My suspicion is that ABC will renew it but the numbers will have to improve in season two for it to keep going. I love Rebel! The cast is amazing, The storyline is great. It is something different and unusual, and unexpected in the most wonderful way. I really hope that ABC reconsiders their absolutely asinine decision to cancel such a wonderful creation.

CANNOT believe that they have cancelled yet ANOTHER FABULOUS series-Rebel. WE LOVE REBEL!!! It’s current and so entertaining, with a fabulous cast…we are glued to every episode, that leaves us wanting more. I’m sick and tired of how it’s ALWAYS about what 18-49 yr olds want, because apparently they have more “throw away’ money. REALLY?! That’s stupid, and discriminatory! I am so close to cancelling ALL network TV and just watch streaming shows…would certainly save me from paying for satellite/cable services that won’t give me the shows I WANT!
We really enjoy Rebel! It’s something a little different, there is drama and it’s funny. Really hope it gets renewed.
