What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Paramount+ subscription service, the SEAL Team TV show stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks. The military action-adventure series centers on an exclusive Navy SEAL unit as they train for, plan, and risk their very lives to carry out perilous missions for the sake and honor of their country. Fierce and focused Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) leads the Tier One team. Despite the hardship it causes them and their families, this SEAL team is ready, willing, and able to embark upon secret missions at the drop of a hat. Team members include Jason’s trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown Jr.); loyal yet self-destructive Sonny Quinn (Buckley); and young Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a multilingual and second-generation SEAL. No-nonsense DEVGRU Intelligence Officer Lisa Davis (Trucks) is assigned primarily to Bravo Team.
Season Five Ratings
On CBS during the 2021-22 season, the first four episodes of the fifth season of SEAL Team averaged a 0.39 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 19% in the demo and down by 12% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
On CBS during the 2023-24 season, the remaining episodes of the fifth season of SEAL Team averaged a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.55 million viewers. Compared to season four, (which aired back in 2020 and 2021), that’s down by 72% in the demo and down by 60% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. Find out how SEAL Team stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
SEAL Team drew low ratings in its fourth and final season on CBS and my understanding is that it was set to be cancelled. Instead, the execs renewed SEAL Team as an exclusive on Paramount+. It performed well enough on the streamer to be renewed for two more years. Season seven is the end. I don’t expect CBS to keep airing the series but, you never know. This is our favorite TV show. I’m not crazy about going to Paramount plus, because we don’t have a subscription to that channel.Wish they would have kept it on CBS.. We are considering subscribing to Paramount plus comment depending on the cost. Each episode is like a whole movie.

I am a little late to the Seal Team Party . I didn’t become hooked on this show until season 3 but now I am obsessed !!! Best show ever !!! I am constantly going back and watching seasons 1-4 . I don’t care which network carry’s it, JUST DONT CANCEL THE BEST SHOW EVER MADE !! ♥️
We love this show, we are not happy that it may be changed to Paramount + because now we will have to pay for another streaming channel!
I hope that they don’t cancel my favorite show…Seal Team is the best show to watch on TV right now…the cast is awesome to watch…the portray their characters very well…please keep this show on!!
Please keep Seal airing for Season 6. It is a good family show that has no sex or bad language. It truly is the last of its kind.
Loved Seal team and never missed a episode but when I read before the new season started that they were going to move it to Paramount I never even started this season because I already knew I wasn’t going to pay for another streaming service. Sorry Seal team I can only afford so much for TV !
Seal team is 10 times better than a lot of the other junk shows on TV such as mask singer on and all those reality shows
Not everyone can afford Paramount plus. I can’t believe you took a great show that shows what our Military really go through on real missions off, and put stupid shows on that isn’t worth watching.

I absolutely LOVE Seal Team!!! It is by far my FAVORITE SHOW, as well as, my friends & family. I have all the seasons on DVD & have asked for the next Season for Christmas! Thank the good Lord for having this type of real show featuring our blessed military & how their lives are affected by their choice to put Patriotism above all else! Thank God for these men & women and their sacrifice for our Country!!!

Really like this show, as a retired Navy guy (not a SEAL, lol)I like these kinds of shows and this is a good one. I got Paramount+ just for this show and will definitely cancel it if they lose this show.
