Superman & Lois will star Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, the actors who have played the iconic roles of the Man of Steel/Clark Kent and reporter Lois Lane on Supergirl and in different Arrowverse crossovers. In the Supergirl series, it was established that the couple is married and has a young son. In tonight’s final installment of “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, reality has been rewritten and they actually have two sons.
The CW recently renewed 13 of its current TV series, including Arrowverse series Supergirl, The Flash, Batwoman, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Black Lightning. The longrunning Arrow series is coming to a close this month and the backdoor pilot for a spin-off airs next week. According to Deadline, the pick-up of the Superman & Lois series may impact that pilot’s chances of getting a series order.
Walker, which is a reboot of the longrunning Walker, Texas Ranger series that stars Chuck Norris, will be led by Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki. The new series order will keep the actor on the network which has been his home since its inception. If you count The WB years with Supernatural and Gilmore Girls, Padalecki’s been connected to the network for two decades. This isn’t the first time he’s been involved in an action series revival either. In 2003, Padalecki starred in a WB pilot for Young MacGyver in which he played the nephew of the original MacGyver. The series was not picked up.
Here are the new series’ official descriptions:
SUPERMAN & LOIS stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as the world’s most famous Super Hero and comic books’ most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society. Both Hoechlin and Tulloch have already appeared as these iconic characters in multiple episodes of The CW’s DC Super Hero series, including this season’s Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover event, which concludes tonight. Based on the characters from DC created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, “SUPERMAN & LOIS” is written and executive produced by Todd Helbing (“The Flash”) and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns. The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
WALKER, a reimagining of the long-running series “Walker, Texas Ranger,” stars Jared Padalecki as Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. He’ll attempt to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner (one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history), while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death. “WALKER” is written and executive produced by Anna Fricke (“Being Human,” “Valor”), and executive produced by Dan Lin and Lindsay Liberatore and Jared Padalecki. “WALKER” is from CBS Television Studios in association with Rideback.

What do you think? Do you plan to check out Walker or Superman & Lois when they eventually debut on The CW?
Love the Superman and Lois tv series i just started watching the first season and so far i like how superman picking up the truck when his kids saw him.
Can’t wait to see test out love the flash and arrow so far best no matter my opinion so good the best crime / superhero.
Superman & Lois: Lot’s of potential, yet I’m afraid Supe & Lois & the Kids could get tedious quickly.
Walker: Will this Walker be an advanced Black Belt? Will we see this Walker carry the tradition of Bushido: Good Character, Self-Control, Honor, Integrity, Honesty, Justice, Kindness, etc. qualities very much needed in today’s extremely self-centered America.
dose any one know when the all new superman series start to air on the cw..
Yes..,I will check it ou
Definitely going to watch Walker!! Love Jared Padelacki. Hate that Supernatural is going off, but will always watch the reruns.
You Can’t Have Arrowverse Without Some Kind Of Arrow Show. So Greenarrow & The Caranies Also Needs A Series Pickup By CW. Superman & Lois & Walker Could Also Be Great Shows. Added To The CW Aswell!!
