Jeff Probst and CBS are sticking with Survivor. The reality competition has been renewed by CBS for two more cycles — the show’s 29th and 30th — which will take it through the end of the 2014-15 season.
In addition, Probst has signed a new agreement to stick with Survivor as the series’ host and as an executive producer.
The current Blood vs. Water edition has former players competing alongside their loved ones and is wrapping up this Sunday night. Though it’s down in the ratings when compared to last fall’s cycle, Survivor remains CBS’ top-rated reality series.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Survivor? Do you watch every cycle or only some of them? What do you think of the current one?
I’m tired of bringing back people who have already played or those who have made or should have made a million dollars already like sports stars, etc. These guys have had their chance. Bring on some new people – John Q Public like it was in the beginning. I almost stopped watching Blood vs because I’d already seen these people before. If they do something like this again I’ll probably stop watching the show. I’ve watched every “season” so far, but my loyalty is about to fade if they keep bringing back previous players.
I do like to watch the show. I am glad it is still on.
Haven’t watched this show since season 2. There’s so much negativity and back-stabbing in the world already, why do I need to watch it on TV
