TV show description:
Based on ABC‘s 1970s TV series and the 2003 feature film of the same name, the SWAT TV show on CBS is a police action drama centering on Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Moore). A lifetime Los Angeles local and former Marine, Hondo has been tapped to lead a new “last stop” Special Weapons and Tactics unit.
Because he is L.A.-born and raised, Hondo feels intensely loyal to his “brothers in blue” and the people they serve. This makes him exceptionally qualified to lead the team and build a bridge between the force and the community.
David “Deacon” Kay (Harrington) is a seasoned, competent officer. Although he can’t help but feel overlooked for the top job, he is extremely loyal and committed to the team’s success. On the other hand, newcomer Jim Street (Russell) tends to be overconfident. Still, he has the potential to become a key player.
Hondo’s tactical unit also includes canine trainer Christina “Chris” Alonso (Esco), a skilled officer in her own right. Then there is Dominique Luca (Johnson), whose driving expertise ensures the team is able to get into and out of risky scenarios.
L.A. Metro Captain Jessica Cortez (Sigman), whose profession is her top priority, supervises the SWAT team. She and Hondo also have a personal relationship.
Finally, there’s Mumford (Onorati). Bold and self-assured, he heads up another L.A. unit and is certain of his own approach to situations. Although his group and Hondo’s are fierce rivals, they relish their competition.
With Hondo at the lead, the SWAT officers are devoted to their jobs and are willing to lay down their lives to protect and serve.

I initially watched the show and actually enjoyed the first couple of episodes but the weekly plots quickly became shallow. To make up for the lack of weekly depth, the writers began stuffing in social justice fillers. I, for one, don’t want to be preached to by my entertainment. The ongoing story lines have also become very painful. Drop it, keep it, I don’t care. I have long since stopped watching this drivel.
I enjoy watching S.W.A.T- most of the time. At first, I thought great- the show is discussing cops being shot down. Only to see that the show is stating the reason why the cops were killed was because they were bad cops. Figures, the show would justify the act of the criminal and vilify the Police Officer.
I love S.W.A.T with all that action which also includes profound messages to all who listen.
i kike the show, but what makes me sick about when the season ends for December 2018 and start back up in January and show only 1 show and start repeating them after that just plain stupid, if you are not going to show the new ones just cancel the show and be done with, after watching cbs I really do despise the network all together and I know that you might reply with some back talk or trying to explain why ya’ll do this.
Good show, but omit the threesome. Does not add to supposed main theme while alienating some viewers with nothing gained. Adds a clunky feel to an otherwise smooth show.
Swat should most definitely come back. Without a doubt.
I’m with all those who feel you have ruined a good thing with the inclusion of the threesome. Decent folks, which I still feel is the majority, don’t want to support nor be subjected to further cultural decline hosted by Hollywood. I have stopped watching until I hear it has removed that portion of the story line.

I am hoping the show is not cancelled, however, if the threesome thing is not eliminated I won’t watch the show.
I am so disappointed that the writers felt it necessary to include some kind of 3 way affair. So unneeded. Great show up to that inclusion. Many of my friends feel the same way. We have all deleted it from our PVR schedule. Hondo is a great character. Had some applicable social problems. Which ever writer felt that illicit sex fit the plot does not understand his/her audience. Good bye Hondo, You did a good job. Your writers did not. Too bad.
The actors and their interaction makes this one special! KEEP IT!!!
I really like SWAT, but I will stop watching if you don’t get rid of the threesom. This is pushing the envelope too far.
My wife and I really enjoyed watching even though the sexuality of the young lady is not to our liking, but when shows start pushing the envelope like they did on latest show, we have decided to stop watching.
Swat is the Hottest show .. it is intense gripping action packed and the chemistry of the actors is amazing . Keep Swat on. Havent seen anything this great since
