A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

While ABC tried to re-use Scott Foley after Scandle ended, They were smart to bring Lauren Cohan in as his foil. The rest of the cast are very good as well. It would be nice to see this show live on on another channel.
I love the show so much. It’s very good and funny.this is a very different show compare to any show. Most shows are drama or funny but with this show it’s a combination of both.
I hope if this show doesn’t make it that another channel picks it up.

As usual a well written show gets cancelled without giving it a chance. I found this show to be very entertaining. It wasn’t your ordinary run of the mill series. It made you feel that there was real chemistry between the members of the cast. I guess pretty soon the only shows that will air on regular tv will be reality shows or other shows with bunches of people who think they can sing or dance. I’m very disappointed in ABC.

Please reconsider this cancellation. This is a fun show. It has not had enough time to catch on.
Me and my Wife loved the show. But keep other shows that aren’t any good
Nooooooo I really liked this show. Who do we complain to? Without fail they cancel the good shows. When ratings are really just guesses, I don’t understand why in this day and age, with everything computerized, why they can’t get a true count and really see who is watching what.
What is wrong with ABC executives? Once there’s a good show on you never give it a chance. I’m sick of all these reality TV programs that cost nothing to produce. I think we’re about ready to get rid of all three major networks and go to the cable channels because they appreciate good programs.
Both my wife and I enjoyed the show thoroughly. The cast had great chemistry and the balance between action and comedy was well written. We could find no negatives for this show and hope some network has the good sense to pick it up. It doesn’t deserve this short a run.

I am very sad to see this show canceled. It is one of my favorite shows. I love the subtle humor and all of the actors. I think the network is too quick to can shows. It should at least get a second season!
I am as usual disappointed that these TV networks never give clever, well written shows a chance to find an audience. I waited for this show weekly to see the mess they got into and out of. I HOPE someone picks this show up and gives it the time to capture people’s hearts because it will!!!!!
