The eighth season of Modern Family premieres tomorrow night on ABC, and guess what? There is a good chance the show may be bringing on some more cast members — of the small fry variety. Speaking at a pre-Emmy event, Producer Sally Young told Variety, to expect “…a major football player. A wedding. A love affair. And maybe more children.” The cast includes: Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and Rico Rodriguez.
When pressed for more information, Young refused to elaborate, saying, “You’ll have to watch.” Since the show is in its eighth season, the children are getting a bit long in the tooth — with the exception of Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) and Joe (Jeremy Maguire). Check out a picture of Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, and Sarah Hyland, on location for season eight, after the jump.
They are so grown up.

Typical. Every family show does this….as soon as the kids are no longer kids, they bring in new kiddies.
