After 25 seasons on FOX, Cops is on the move. The venerable reality show was dropped by the network in the spring but was picked up by Spike TV.
Though the channel has changed, the timeslot will not. Season 26 of Cops will debut on Saturday, September 14th, at 8pm on Spike TV.
In the premiere, viewers will ride along with law enforcement officers in Stockton, California; Sarasota County, Florida; and Amarillo, Texas. Incidents include a suspect fleeing as officers respond to a fight call, a belligerent meth user refusing to cooperate after being pulled over, and a cranky husband getting busted for pot after his wife kicks over his Harley.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Cops? Do you plan on following the series to Spike TV?
