FOX has given the boot to the Army comedy Enlisted. The show has been cancelled after one season.
The Friday night sitcom drew low ratings and the network pulled it after nine of the 13 episodes had aired. No word on when or if the final installments will see the light of day.
Enlisted follows three brothers who find themselves all stationed at the same US Army base in Florida as part of a troup of misfits. The sitcom’s cast includes Stults, Chris Lowell, Parker Young, Keith David, and Angelique Cabral.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Enlisted? Do you think it shpould have been cancelled?
Love Seth Green and love this show!! So sad its cancelled!!!!!!!!!
Seth Green???? What’s he got to do with this show? He’s not even on it. He’s on that other terrible Fox show.
Disappointed! Loved the homage to Stripes and Animal House in this series. I hope another network will recognize the comical gem Enlisted is.
Wtf fox… Always canceling the good shows….I will now give you a huge advantage moving forward- whatever you want to cancel do not cancel…. You are terrible at this, costing yourself money.
I agree with FAN. Will miss this show. Fox please reconsider and find another time slot.
WHAT THE **** FOX?!
I thought they should of renewed it, it was funny and could take my mine off the
some ot the awful things that can and do happen in the military.
US Veteran
Sad to see this one go. I too liked finder and was sad to see it leave…oh well just fox taking a good show and ditching it…
i just checked the website the next episode is in june is it still cancelled or is this information posted here just speculation
It’s still cancelled. They’re just airing the leftover episodes.
Very disappointed that this was canceled.
It was a slow start for me, but so was M*A*S*H. To this day I love that show. It showed the human side of the military. TV bends over backwards to show off the most bizarre situations, but Fox missed an opportunity to win the hearts and minds of Americans with a show that represents the 1% who lay it on the line everyday for freedom, justice, and the pursuit of liberty.
I am disappointed this show was cancelled…as a veteran, it is rare to see a military comedy tv show that is accurate in key details about the military, without being too inhibited or the opposite. This was enjoyable and not profane, which is also rare.
I agree with Jennifer on this. Sad to see it go. And Thomass275, I’m not sure what you’re talking about. They gave it every possible chance? They buried it on Friday with no good lead in and barely promoted it.
I watched it with cautious optimism, thinking from the start that it would never be renewed. I think Geoff Stults must be cursed. First, The Finder and now this. Although The Finder was a much better show. It was almost like they put this show on the air as some sort of consolation prize.
I guess I’m in the minority here because I actually did like this show. Was it the best comedy that ever aired? No. But it sure wasn’t the worst, either. This was a cute show That I enjoyed every week and it always gave me a smile. I’ll miss it.
This show should have never made it onto the airwaves. I’m absolutely shocked that they aired nine episodes. What really upsets me is they kept this show on giving it every possible chance to succeed but then cancelled Almost Human!? The people who make these decisions definitely don’t watch the shows they pass judgement on.
I thought it had been canceled awhile back. It was awful. I often wonder if the people who make these shows (or the network folks) ever watch them to see what they are producing.
every time I read a headline about a ENLISTED’S cancellation I see: “YOU AIN’T GOT NO NETWORK BUM ASS LITTLE SHOW! ” Biegel and Royce make great TV any other time
