Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will be back on ABC this fall with its fourth season, and the series will have a new later time slot. That could open the door for a “darker” fourth season, according to one star.

Elizabeth Henstridge spoke about the fourth season at the MCM London Comic Con, and she is excited about the upcoming season.

According to Digital Spy, she said the following:

“I think it’s great. I think we’ve got progressively darker each season and it’s great to be able to push those boundaries a little bit.I think the writers are excited, because they’ll be able to maybe get a little bit sexy… throw in some good swearing!”
