What’s This TV Show About?
A sitcom airing on the CBS television network, Mom stars Anna Faris, Allison Janney, Jaime Pressly, Matt Jones, Sadie Calvano, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, Mimi Kennedy, Beth Hall, and William Fichtner. The series centers on Christy (Faris), a single mom in recovery who has moved back in with her own single mother, Bonnie (Janney), who’s also in recovery. Bonnie’s attempts to make up for her failings can try Christy’s patience. After all, she’s working on her relationships with her own kids and their father and working toward a new career. Meanwhile, Bonnie is learning how to forge healthy relationships and still wonders what she’ll be when she grows up. Together, and with the help of AA, Christy and Bonnie spot one another along the road to recovery.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of Mom is averaging a 1.46 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 8.76 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s up by 2% in the demo and up by 16% in viewership. Find out how Mom stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Although this comedy’s ratings have slipped over the years, historically, Mom has done pretty well in the demo, which — Big Bang Theory aside — isn’t the Tiffany Network’s strong suit. Flying a bit blind, I expect it will score a renewal. Still, comedies often start to show their age around now, and this program has a good sized syndication package, so another season is not guaranteed. Jennifer, I completely agree with you! As a recovering alcoholic it has helped me so much when I can’t get to a meeting. Thank goodness for repeats that they show. Let’s hope and pray they bring it back. Praying

this show sucks
Why do you change the time and days around. This is THE BEST show on TV. If you cancel it, you are making a HUGE mistake. You need to promote it more and keep it on at the same time every week. I do Nielson ratings, but this year I cant. This show ROCKS. Don’t put it up against Will and Grace. That is crazy. I will tell you when to put it on. I agree ,I will seriously be mad if they cancel mom! There hasn’t been a descent TV sitcom on since the 90s in my opinion.every show out there is absolutely STUPID,and they’re on all the time…..cancel one of the disgusting other shows on the air,keep a show on for descent normal people.,…yes I’m talking about Mom,its a great show,with great people………just like society to wanna cancel a show with values
I think it’s ridiculous, this is a great show, it deals with real life, y’all r talking about canceling a show! Why haven’t canceled that crappy show the detour, u want to talk about a stupid crappy show there u go, a meanless show about stupid crap, PLEASE CANCEL THAT SHOW!!!!! MOM is reality, I AM AA, and it hits home, and we need this show, it’s real, and it would help alot people if it came back, but then again, y’all are not about helping people, y’all are about bringing people down aren’t you????!!!!!!

I recently started watching Mom on late night TV and I’m pleasantly surprised. It is very entertaining, realistically funny, yet pleasantly different from the normal fare of sitcoms. I’m hoping it is renewed for a sixth season.
I think they should air more shows
MOM is a uniquely wonderful series. We love it and hope the series will continue for a long time. Tremendous characters, great humor, and touching moments about real life.
