TV show description:
From Mickey Fisher, the Reverie TV show is a cutting-edge techno-thriller. The drama centers on former hostage negotiator Mara Kint (Shahi), an expert on human behavior. After a horrific, personal tragedy, Mara left that field to become a college professor.
Her semi-retirement is totally upended, when her former boss, Charlie Ventana (Haysbert), drafts her for a new mission. Their new mission is to save regular people who have essentially lost themselves in a virtual-reality of their own making.
The new technology is a highly advanced, immersive experience, which allows users to live out their biggest dreams and wildest fantasies. As Mara fights to save these people, she just might find her own salvation, as well.

I am getting sick of NBC cancelling great shows!!! I LOVE REVERIE!!!!!! I DONT WANT THIS FREAKING SHOW CANCELLED!!!! You think I’ve raised hell over THE CROSSING or TIMELESS being cancelled??!! You HAVENT seen me angry yet!!! Please, keep REVERIE on!!!! Give this show a chance!!!!
I agree completely. I enjoy creative stories so much more than all of the reality crap! Crossing, Timeless and Reverie were my 3 favorite shows. Guess I’m going to leave tv behind and watch movies exclusively!

BEST new show…..it exactly follows Stephen Hawking’s prediction about the links between our supposedly “real” world and dream and imaginary worlds connect in space. He said it would be the next really important area of scientific study ….are hopes and dreams really OUT THERE in the particulate world? I bet yes.
Reverie is a program that one must actually watch all the way to the end. Enjoy the premise, complicated characters, and mystery tidbits at the of each episode. Sarah Shahi is one of my favorites, and I do hope this show continues.
Love this show and the people in it. After a few minutes to figure out what was going on, it’s really enjoyable. Hope they don’t cancel it and give the show a chance to prove its great. I’m so tired of all the same old shows on all the time. Cop shows, reality shows, and my family is stupider than yours type shows are getting to be too much all alike and too many of them.
