CBS is hearing the pleas of one star of SEAL Team to renew the series for a fifth year. Dramas SWAT, Bull, NCIS, Magnum PI, and Blue Bloods were all renewed earlier this week but the Wednesday night military drama’s fate is still up in the air.
Series star David Boreanaz (above) and Justin Melnick took to social media to encourage CBS to renew the drama series.

SEAL Team airs on Wednesday nights on CBS and is averaging 4.06 million viewers in the traditional ratings. That is down approximately 17% from last season and the show ranks 18th among the network’s 24 scripted series of this season.

I don’t understand why this show is fighting fir renewal every season yet SWAT isn’t. I like this show. SWAT just didn’t interest me. I compare these two because they started about the same time.
Please do not cancel this show. My husband and I never miss an episode and have it set to record each week to assure we do not. This is one of our favorites.
Yes, please, please, please keep this show on. There are so many other garbage programming on but this is well written and the actors are exceptional! Go Seal Team!

Please don’t cancel!! This is one of the only shows I actually sit and watch with husband. 3 service members in family including young grandson also watch this show every week.
Please renew this series. I am a navy intel (IS) vet, and the show consistently rings true, particularly with the depth of character development both on duty, and in personal daily lives. I will be greatly disappointed if you do not opt to renew. This is one of the handful of CBS (only) TV shows that I follow.
