“Dangerous soldiers for dangerous missions.” Cinemax has just released a new trailer for their upcoming revival of Strike Back.
The action drama follows the missions of Section 20, a classified branch of the British Defence Intelligence service. The new cast includes Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson, Roxanne McKee, and Alin Sumarwata.
Strike Back premieres on Cinemax on February 2nd.

Strike Back 2018 season 5 is still better than most action TV series. Scott and Stonebridge were slightly better, but the new team will grow on me I’m sure. Keep Strike back coming!
I have seen all 10 episodes in the UK and I feel it is better. Now the girls get to kick ass too and help out. As for when Scott and Stone Bridge show up I let out a big yelp in the middle of the living room as I didn’t know they were in it. Watch all of the episodes before judging it.
There is no comparison the combination Of Damien and Michael in the original Strike back was believable and authentic I watched the new episodes characters are corny and unbelievable ,I’ll give the new series another try out of loyalty to Damien and Michael
Really disappointed with this first episode. The previous team were believable but the women members here are way too skinny to have ever come close to passing any SO training requirements. Sorry – not beliveable.
I will give it a shot, however I’m a little skeptical. I’m unsure you can capture the chemistry of Scott & Stonebridge. I miss the series greatly & hope you can recreate the essence of the original. If the writing isn’t there, along with the intensity it will fall short. I hope there is a consultant from MI6 or another agency. I also watched the preview and one of the women was in combat gear and full make-up, which put me off a bit. Make-up really? It just didn’t look like it fit the scene.
To be honest, unless “Strike Back” was returning with Sgt. Damien Scott( Sullivan Stapleton) and Sgt. Michael Stonebridge (Philip Winchester) I probably would not be watching it. I hated to see that show end the last time.
