Past choices may come back to bite John in the fifth season of The Rookie TV show on ABC. As we all know, Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the fifth season episodes of The Rookie here. *Status Update Below.
An ABC police drama series, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, Mekia Cox, Shawn Ashmore, and Tru Valentino. Lisseth Chavez recurs. John Nolan (Fillion) is a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania who owns a construction company. He decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy, is the oldest rookie on the force, and eventually becomes a training officer. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), Detective Angela Lopez (Diaz), training officers Nyla Harper (Cox) and Tim Bradford (Winter), fellow rookie Lucy Chen (O’Neil), and the station’s newest rookie, Aaron Thorsen (Valentino).

3/21 episode “Double Trouble” was terrible. I hate that format and the plot was ridiculous. I normally enjoy this show, but definitely not this particular episode. Not worth my time to watch this week.
The rookie, The rookie feds, Chicago fire, Chicago med and many more need to be renewed the writer and director is amazing with everything they do. My family and I love these shows. Thank u for making them.

What is the deal? You can’t be a rookie after so many shows. It is beating a dead horse. If writers were any good they would listen to the people that have to watch terrible shows over and over. It is like watching reruns of “I Love Lucy.”
Absolutely love this show!! I don’t watch much regular television, but this is one show I never miss!!!! Love the cast and 95% of the story lines they come up with…PLEASE keep this show on air!!
I absolutely love the rookie. But here’s the thing.. why must they keep coming out with these great series, only to cancel them?
The Rookie just gets better and better each episode! Keep’em coming, love all the characters their roles and story lines! Never a dull moment!

I agree with Dawson, as adults we have our own imagination and don’t need to hear foul language or see nudity. I absolutely love Nolan and all the other cast members. The lady he is with is boring,she has too much crazy superstition crap. Either change her or let Nolan dump her. Plz renew this tv show and get it going with season 7!! I’m ready to watch. GREAT SERIES AND CREATIVE WORK by WRITERS!! I LOVE The Rookie!! The cast are ALL GREAT actors. This series is creative drama without all the cursing and nudity. A PLEASURE to watch with innovative and interesting storylines. America is about so much more than nudity, sex and bad language. MOST of us have intellect and enjoy SOLVING crime, UNRAVELING mystery and the THRILL of action. We have an ACTIVE IMAGINATION that DOESN’T REQUIRE us HEARING & VIEWING EVERYTHING indecent!
I am so tired of all the reality shows about dating.. bickering housewives.. and all the needless foul language and nudity.
