Every journey must come to an end, even if you’re a special operative trying to save humanity from destruction. Today, Netflix cancelled its Travelers TV show after three seasons. Star Eric McCormack has released a video, announcing that the show would not return for a fourth season. He did offer up the tiniest sliver of hope for fans, saying, “Who knows what the future holds,” and adding, “Travelers ‘Program One’, as we call it, is complete.” Check it out, below.
A Netflix sci-fi mystery, Travelers also stars MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, Reilly Dolman, Patrick Gilmore, J. Alex Brinson, Leah Cairns, and Jennifer Spence. The drama unfolds in a post-apocalyptic future, in which special operatives known as “travelers” go back in time to save humanity from destruction. Unlike much time-travel fiction, there is no time machine involved. Instead, a traveler transfers his or her consciousness into the body of “target” just prior to that person’s death, then uses the person’s identity as a cover, while carrying out secret missions.

My husband and I really enjoyed this series after enjoying Stranger Things. We are so disappointed to hear Season 4 is cancelled! It was a favorite and we need more like this series! Here’s hoping the powers that be at Netflix change their minds!
I think that travelers shud get a better ending evin if it is just a Movie So we know if the futer is fixed or not.
I like it more thin NCIS and that is a great show.
I loved the show! One of the very few that I could get my boyfriend into watching with me. Just finished season 3 today. Researched last night about a season 4 and was very disappointed to find out the status of the show being cancelled! Must all good things come to an end?
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t watch tv AT ALL EVER anymore but heard such good things I just binged the show on my Netflix computer account. I had no idea there wouldn’t be a Season 4. SO TERRIBLE!!!! The only solace is that we at least got to see best social worker and human EVER possibly unite with Marcy. We love the show! We make it our Date nite go to. So disappointed it has been cancelled. Please bring it back!

I’m so so so mad they canceled the Travelers and there won’t be a season 4 … they seem to do this with all the shows I like grrrrr
My husband and I absolutely love this show and are very saddened that there won’t be a season 4. We loved all the characters and the history behind each character. This show had it all, suspense, action, romance, sadness etc. we hope that Netflix will change its mind and bring it back. Truly the only show that my husband and I stayed up till 2am watching while we both had to be back up for work by 6am. Much love!

Seems any decent sci fi gets cancelled or any that requires som degree of thought. Why pick it up for one season. At least it finished season 3 with a conclusion.
i am disappointed to tears there will not be more – the ending to season 3 was indeed gratifying – but i very selfishly crave more Travelers adventures – I hope another Channel like SYFY or HULU or someone worthy will pick it up and give us season 4.
Travelers is one of the best series on Netflix and any other streaming service. The ending of season 3 left so much to work with on future episodes. I hope Netflix changes it’s mind on this show.

Oh my goodness I loved sense8!!! I was literally can’t even explain how upset I was about that show ending!!! I’m just happy they gave us that movie long finale but craved so much more!!
I’m disappointed. Travelers was entertaining, well acted and most importantly wasn’t like every other show on tv. I hope it’s resurected.
