There’s magic in the air on Friday nights. The CW network has renewed its Charmed TV series for a third season for the 2020-21 broadcast season.
The Charmed TV show stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Ser’Darius Blain, Ellen Tamaki, Nick Hargrove, and Rupert Evans. A reboot of the 1998 series, the show follows three sisters (Diaz, Jeffery, and Mantock) who discover they are witches in the wake of their mother’s murder. Soon, this powerful threesome must stand together to harness “The Power of Three” and protect humanity from the demons that prowl the earth. In season two, the “Charmed Ones” take over for the Elders and must decide if they are truly prepared for the responsibility.
The second season of Charmed is averaging a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 673,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 32% and 21%, respectively.
Season two of Charmed resumes on January 17th. Season three will air as part of the 2020-21 television season and that kicks off in Fall 2020.

I watched the entire season of the orginal Charmed, my eldest daughter (26) grew up watching it as well. I truly believe that this series can succeed as its own show. The writers have done a great job of not allowing for comparison of the two shows. I have to admit, my initial interest was to find the similarities and then pick it apart. But this story line defines the origin of the power of three. That this is a generational reoccuring event to “save mankind”. I love this reboot Charmed. It is my favorite show. I am so grateful it is renewed for third season . I hope it continues for a very long time. I love the actors and the stories. It gives me something to look forward to every week.
I was one who didn’t think Charmed could be remade from the classic I grew up loving. But, YES! I am a fan. I cannot wait to see where Macy and Harry’s relationship goes! I look forward to Season 3!!!!!
I loved the original Charmed so much that I wasn’t too thrilled for the reboot.I’m glad I decided to watch it though… It’s been on for two seasons, and I can’t wait to see the next episode. Love the reboot.

Why do you people come here to hate on this show by wishing it would cancel when you so simply just don’t have to watch it! Why wish that sadness on all the people who love it! That’s not very nice and definitely isn’t fair to us that love it! We aren’t going on show pages that were don’t like just to say we want it cancelled because we want to hurt all those people who are fans! Normal, mature and good hearted people don’t do that!
Because people are allowed to have negative opinions regardless if you agree with them.

I am J’Markel Smith. I have been a Charmed fanatic of the Original 1998 series since I was a young child. I was so excited to see a new generation for Charmed come into play. Long before the reboot I had always dreamed of being apart of a new Charmed. This reboot has a great cast and I absolutely love the storyline and how modern society and weighs of the world have been incorporated into the reboot. Not happy it’s been renewed & For sure not a fan. I hope one day we get an OG movie.
I will never understand why people wish the end for this show when they don’t even watch it, nor they want to watch it. There are many of us that love the show and will watch it no matter what. It’s not as bad as people say it is. Old fans need to stop comparing the old charmed with the new. The show isn’t perfect but I definitely DO NOT want it to get cancelled. Eniaz is right ! I whole-heartedly agree. I am in love with the new reboot because it is a scintillating reinterpretation of the Charmed story. The acting is superb, the sisterly love just as fierce and endearing, the episodes are action-pacted, riveting and original. If you loved Charmed originally, DONT MISS OUT on this one !!

Wish they canned this one and had Holly and Alyssa do a real reboot….the writers tanked this one in season one. And the casting sucks for what ud expect from Charmed.
I’m not interested in the old characters. I was interested back when they were airing. This is a different show…different time, different era…it’s too late for the old characters… these ladies in Charmed are amazing…They are beautiful, well defined characters…Harry, with good looks and accent
…nothing is missing for me…the constant whining about the old show, and characters is childish, in my opinion…I’m happy at 47 to have a show that allows me to see magic, beauty, and goodness of humanity in a light hearted way.
Wish was cancelled and holly and them did a REAL reboot. This this one only continues to blow harder and harder.
that makes no sense.. you don’t like the show, therefore you don’t watch it right? That sounds fair to me. But why wish for it to be cancelled? The show getting renewed doesn’t affect you at all.. only those of us that actually love the show.
I am, and I will always be a Bigggg! fan of Charmed, both old and new. I look forward to the renewal of Charm each season. I would be heartbroken if the show is cancelled. However, there is just one problem, the ladies don’t fight like the original Charmed sisters. The show lack action! The original Charmed sisters kicked ass all the time. Prue was a bad ass!! Just because your homophobic mother doesn’t like/support the LGBT community doesn’t mean that it needs to be “fixed”. It also isn’t an issue that a person in the cast is lesbian contrary to you and your mothers beliefs.
I was and still is a fan of the old Charmed. Plus a even bigger fan of the new Charmed. Bottom line the new Charmed series is a keeper and glad to see that there will air another season.I am not much of a tv watcher; but I enjoy watching this new version. Hoping it runs just as long as the original Charmed and why not cast some of the original Charmed characters with the new ones….Just a thought☺
