Fans wondering what happened after the series finale of Constantine don’t have to wonder anymore. Series executive producer Daniel Cerone just released an original script for episode 14 on Twitter (download here).
The supernatural series, which followed occult detective John Constantine (Matt Ryan), was cancelled by NBC earlier this year after only one season of 13 episodes.
Cerone’s script comes a week before John Constantine will make a guest character appearance on The CW’s Arrow on November 4th. In a tweet earlier this week, Cerone urged fans of Constantine to watch the Arrow episode in hopes Constantine could maybe continue on another network.
What do you think? Are you a Constantine fan? Will you read the script? Do you want a season two?
It always should have been on the CW in the first place. It belongs with Arrow, the Originals, The Vampire Diaries, and Supernatural. It’s a perfect fit. Let’s just hope the CW thinks so too, and the original cast is up for continuing the show.
Now if only somebody would do the same for Forever!
Loved the TV series Constantine, must have missed that episode 13 was series finale, what a shame. Surely think the CW would be getting a great opportunity in this one. Would love to see more. Love Arrow, have never missed an episode an looking forward to seeing John Constantine on Nov 4th am assuming he’s coming to help with Sarah’s resurrection and current state of demonicness.
Yes please, bring it back.
Yes, please! I want CW is bring Constantine back for a second season. And I want episode 14 script to be made into an episode. CW once said no to season two, so I think they should reconsider.
OMG bring it back it’s awesome just got into it and it’s cancelled
The one poster was correct…Matt Ryan WAS CONSTANTINE!!! He’s fantastic as Constantine…COME ON CW…PICK YOUTSELF UP ANOTHER LONG LADTING MEGA HIT SHOW!
Constantinennnboth the show AND the series were great. I’m very disappointed by the short sightedness of network. I was a great…addictive…show. The CW should pick it up…would fit well with their lineup, and I would BET…And I never bet…that CW viewers would take it to their hearts , as they…WE.. have with Sam n Dean. Arrow, vampire diaries, etc. Please someone fix this injustice
Of course!!!! I want season2 back!
that would be great to see constantine on CW. the only show nbc has is grimm., thats the only great show they got. i cant even find season 1 of constatine??? on dvd.
I agree that they should have never canceled this show. I hope that by appearing on Arrow, the CW decides to take on the show and bring it back. I love this show!
El Rey is showing the original 13 episodes in November. Break out the DVR.
As far as i am concerned they should never have taken it off in the first place I love this show!!!!
Yes, I would love to see Constantine come back a second season….and more! Love this show! Lets do it!!!!!
Definitely would welcome a saeson 2. Looks like regular network TV has better SyFy shows than the SyFy network on cable.
a script is cool but it’s not the same as another season of the awesome Matt Ryan as Constantine this show never should have been cancelled I want CW to pick it up and it be a huge success so they can rub it NBC’s face when they renew it past season 5 and NBC was too stupid for cancelling it after only 13 episodes they could make it a little lighter though it was very dark.
The CW is a lesser network, so even if it gets numbers enough to get renewed, that doesn’t mean they can rub it in NBC’s faces. For instance, Arrow would have been cancelled within 1 season as the numbers are really bad for NBC, but enough for The CW.
I really hope that the WB picks up the show Constantine, I loved the show even though the cancelled it after 13 or so episodes! The WB needs to pick it up and continue it with no changes (I loved how dark it was) and I would love for it to be played after Supernatural! I had hoped that maybe Netflix would pick it up, but after I found out that John Constantine is going to be on Arrow this week it really gives me hope that the WB is considering picking it up. PLEASE WB, please pick it up… Read more »
