What’s This TV Show About?
A USA Network 1930s period piece, Damnation stars Killian Scott, Logan Marshall-Green, Sarah Jones, Chasten Harmon, Melinda Page Hamilton, Christopher Heyerdahl, Joe Adler, Teach Grant, Dan Donohue, David Haysom, Arnold Pinnock, and Rohan Mead. The heartland labor drama centers on Seth Davenport (Scott). Although he poses as a small town Iowa preacher, he is actually an incognito labor agitator. Seth’s goal is to incite an all out revolt against the status quo. Little does he know a captain of industry has hired professional strikebreaker Creeley Turner (Marshall-Green) to squash the insurrection at any cost. What’s more, Davenport and Turner have a history — one that’s dark and bloody.

Telly’s Take
The ratings haven’t been great but, because the cable network tends to be patient with its original TV series, I expect USA will renew Damnation for a second season but they could easily cancel it. Subscribe for free updates on any Damnation cancellation or renewal news.

What do you think? Did you watch the first season? Should USA have cancelled or renewed Damnation for season two? Sound off, below.
Great show!!! So upset this was cancelled!
Very disappointed to find out this show was cancelled.
I’m very disappointed that USA network cancelled this show after only one season. It may had a slow start but it finished strong overall.
I can’t believe you would cancel this this series. Someone needs to pick this up and continue with it. To leave it hanging where you did and and then cancel the show was probably the most ridiculous thing this network could have done. Please bring it back!!!#
I sooooooooo love this show and I hate that USA cancelled it… there’s not much good to watch on now a days and this was a good show, very much binge worthy so will someone else please pick it up for a season 2?
I hope the 2nd, I love
My husband and I really can’t wait until season two! It shows us a part of our history we never knew about. Please bring it back!
my wife and I will be very disappointed if there will not be a new 2nd season of damnation. we have really gotten into this series. we really like series like this. please hurry, we can’t wait to see what will happen next!
I’m so aggravated that such a great show has been cancelled. This was my favorite new series. I bet, if it was on a larger network who advertised it, the series would be a hit show. So, disappointed in USA Network.
Please Please Please make another season !!!!!!! This is a great series. The plot is captivating. We just finished it tonight and would be VERY disappointed if it will be discontinued.
Figures it was cancelled . Shows the scumbag ppl that screwed the American farmer and workers , just like today but more clever wolf’s today. it’s a crying shame pll need to know these stories and I thought it was brilliant even if it was over dramatized. Now you know why 75% of our food is grown by our government. Sure hope it comes back follows things all the way to the 60s and 70s.
I am just starting the series, and on episode #1 at the 37:59 mark, the “Preacher” goes to a (period appropriate) double pole knife switch, which is in the open circuit position and the lights are on, he levers the knife switch to close the circuit, and the lights go off. Quite funny. 🙂
I’m very disappointed that Damnation was cancelled after Season One. I found it on Netflix and hope they will reinstate the series.
I loved this series. Very sad that it won’t be continued. I think the problem is that people just don’t know about it because it’s great. Better marketing maybe??
Exactly! They didn’t advertise it very well at all. I only found it by accident channel surfing! Love this show!
Great show, Netflix should pick it up!!
I hope so! I don’t even have Netflix, but I’d get it, if they got this series on there
