Lucifer fans may be in luck. According to Deadline, Netflix is considering a possible sixth season for the TV show.
The comedy-drama series centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) crack cases. The cast also includes DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Last year, Netflix announced Lucifer would return for a fifth and final season in 2020. However, it now seems season five may not be the end after all. According to Deadline, the streaming service is in talks with Lucifer EPs Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson for a sixth season. Nothing official has been announced yet, but Deadline says sources are “optimistic” for another season.

We absolutely LOVE this series! Our entire family has gotten hooked on it, and we are now in the process of re-watching all of the episodes in preparation for the drop of the new episodes. Discovering this series has given us a gem that we all enjoy, with clever plots, a lot of laughs, and even some tears. Can’t wait for more!
Lucifer is such an interesting series. Love it. Don’t want it to ever stop, though I know ALL good shows come to an end. I believe Lucifer has at least a good 5 seasons, each with 15 episodes left. Maybe more.
i hope they keep lucifer going for some more seasons. love this show and with some comedy added gives you something to smile about, even with making the devil interesting and with a human side. better then all the blood and gore shows that have gone longer then 10 or more years
I love this show SO MUCH! We are rewatching all the past episodes and after each one, I just sight and say “I love this show!”, decrying the notion that I won’t again be able to see the magnificent cast integrating story with personality, humor and thought-provocation. I would be ecstatic were a Season 6 to become a reality.
Yes please season six is a high hope in my books! Just hope that it could be possible since this pandemic has most of the entertainment industry out if work… just be sure to be safe be sane and be sagacious
