MacGyver is getting closer to its final episode. The series, a reboot of the popular 1980s series of the same name, was cancelled by CBS earlier this month, and the series finale will air on April 30th. The network has now released details and photos for the farewell episode. The episode titled “Abduction + Memory + Time + Fireworks + Dispersal” will find Mac (Lucas Till) and Riley (Tristan Mays) in a tough situation.
CBS revealed the following about the series finale of MacGyver:
“When Mac and Riley go missing and wake up 24 hours later in a corn field with no memory of how they got there, they must unravel the mystery to find who took them, and how to get rid of the nanotrackers in their bodies, no matter the cost, on the series finale of MACGYVER, Friday, April 30 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”

MacGyver is the only Friday night drama not returning next season. CBS renewed both Blue Bloods and Magnum PI yesterday. The network also renewed NCIS, Bull, and SWAT.

Would like to see it return for another season, also would like to see Hawaii five oh return with same stars from last season or incorporate Hawaii five o start in magnum Pi, Hawaii five O was a great series on Friday nights!

Canceling MacGyver big mistake. Please bring All Rise back or I’m done with watching Friday nights. You could of canceled Blue Bloods and Bull they are boring.
Sad to see MacGyver cancelled, we need a season 6 to wrap up all the loose ends. My 8 year old got into science because of Mac and we watch it as a family please let there be a season 6. #savemacgyver

It’s to Bad to see it go. It’s a wonderful and educational ( science knowledge).
It’s ashame for the cancelation, i felt bad for the original was canceled and was very pleased to see a younger version of it.

What’s the point in carry on watching?
The plot line is dead as far as I am concerned.
It happened to Next and NCIS New Orleans so, I just stopped watching.
Not wasting anymore of my time on hopeless networks.
I am watching CSI Las Vegas again, at least I know the outcome!
I’m going to miss the MacGyver series! I enjoyed the original & this remake series. It was a fun escape from the real world! I hope another network will pick it up!
They should have renewed McGyver Too! Great show!
