How many ways will Mac save the world in the fifth season of the MacGyver TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like MacGyver is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the fifth season episodes of MacGyver here. *Status Update Below.
A CBS action-adventure series, MacGyver stars Lucas Till, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, Meredith Eaton, Levy Tran, and Henry Ian Cusick. A reimagining of the 1985 TV series, this show centers on Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Till), a 20-something adventurer. Mac is an operative in a secret organization within the US government called the Phoenix Foundation. There, he uses his vast scientific knowledge and an extraordinary talent for unconventional problem-solving to save lives. In his high-risk missions, Mac is aided by hacker Riley Davis (Mays); Mac’s best friend, prosthetics expert Wilt Bozer (Hires); Director of Operations Matty Weber (Eaton); the team’s protector, Desi Nguyen (Tran); and Russ Taylor (Cusick), a quick-witted former military operative and manipulator. Under the aegis of the Phoenix Foundation, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

I grew up on the old MacGyver. Was so excited to see the new one returning. I like the new show but Levy Tran has got to go. She’s not believable and Mac and her relationship is not believable and downright annoying. Bring back Jack Dalton! I miss their fun bantering, Jack’s big brother approach to backing up Mac and bailing him out. Lucas Till, Meredith Eaton, Bozer, Cusick, Riley are all great.
What a fun ride, love the opening background scenes. This is TV Entertainment at its best. It is not suppose to “Preach to Viewers”. It is suppose to entertain the viewer, let the viewer escape from the madness going on in the world…..MACGYVER DELIVERS….it’s a fun filled ride for the whole family ❗️
MacGyver is a good show, so glad you renewed it for another season. It definitely deserves to be around for a few more seasons. Love the action and definitely love to see Angus doing what he does best, create things out of nothing!!!!! I liked the original one and definitely love this one too!!!

Actually Richard Dean Anderson 1985 exact date first season start incorrect not 1970’s love both version so good love it watch every episode.
I love this show!! So glad it was renewed. I watched it back in the 70’s with Richard Dean Anderson. Very good show just love to watch McGuyver make weapons out of scraps and pieces. Takes a real genius to do that. That’s what makes it interesting watching him to see ehst he will come up with next. All of the actors are doing a good job! Reilly is so cute and such a computer wiz. Definitely a keeper renew it!!!
I think they should have more seasons of macgyer
I like this season so far, a lot better than last season. They got off that weird thing with Codex and started just focusing on the cases again, which I like. I also like that they added Henry Ian Cusack to the show, which doesn’t hurt. Hope it gets renewed for another season.
This show MacGuyer is hard to get into. Its more like they throw so much that seems like a movie theater presentation into one episode you never really connect with the actors. People like it but lets be realistic you have to admit that’s the way it comes off and you lose attention. That may be hard to understand, but take for instance Seatl Team they put more person to person interaction, slowed it down while upping their police job. Don’t cancel MacGyver it’s the best show on in its timeslot on Friday nights.
I stopped watching after George Eads left…I tried watching a few episodes after, but it wasn’t as good to me.

I Want the show to continue, cause Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Till) and his team has not show all they talent and ability skill. I want to know Till and Tran will they end up together or they goes on they separate way same to Hires and Mays. If you end right the show it will be ashamed so don’t cancel the show.
