Are you a fan of Whiskey Cavalier? The cast of the ABC TV show recently posted their reactions to the series’ recent cancellation.
The drama series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Scott Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world. The cast also includes Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins.
As we reported earlier, ABC has decided to cancel Whiskey Cavalier after only 11 episodes. On social media, the series’ cast and creator Bill Lawreacted to the news. See their posts below:

I enjoyed the show, sad to see it didn’t get picked up. It seems they just don’t give scripted shoes enough time to build an audience
This is a good show!!! It’s a family show!!!! The networks seem to always cancel the decent ones!!!!

Yes, we loved Whiskey Cavalier, it’s fun humor with fast action made for a very entertaining hour. I hope some other network picks them up!
Very upset about this. Not much worth watching on tv anymore. So I will watch less and less. My kids don’t t watch at all. I have to learn from them. Where is the entertainment and humor? So tired of dark, dreary, political. This is a sad day.
The issue is simple. Networks hate scripted shows, I mean they cost more to make, you have to have a good story, and above all, talented people. With the reality shows, they cut their cost big time. You also have to consider your target audience….. Ratings… please you doom certain shows from the start by where you put them in your lineup…. they call it the “Friday death slot” for a reason…… time, also a BIG factor….. What is it with these stations? Give a show a chance. I’m getting to the point of why bothering watching ANYTHING that’s new. You get invested and then BAM it’s gone. I’m VERY disappointed.
Nope–sat through the first couple episodes as I truly WANTED to like it–but there was absolutely zero chemistry, so we took it off the queue. I like Scott Foley a great deal, but this show was blah as far as I was concerned.

I was so sad to hear this! The entire cast work so well together and Lauren and Scott are awesome together! Gonna miss it for sure. it amazes me they won’t even give a show like this a chance to gain its footing and a loyal audience but something like how to get away with murder keeps coming back season after season! I just don’t get it

I would have watched as many seasons as were shown. It would be nice it the powers that be would get their heads out of their asses, maybe then the exceptionally good shows like this one would last. Unfortunately whoever is making the decisions to keep or cancel obviously doesn’t know what quality entertainment is and the public has to suffer through countless reality shows instead.
Agree. They’ll probably replace it with some dumb “reality” or game show. Yuck.
Time for the networks to give these budding shows a chance..no fair that it was cancelled after only 1 season.
