Fuller House returned to Netflix with its second season earlier this month, and the early ratings are in. Will fans see a third season of the Full House revival?
Netflix has not released official ratings for the second season, but Symphony Advanced Media, a ratings measurement company, has offered their own ratings for season two, and there was a huge drop in the numbers from season one.
Variety shared the following about Fuller House’s ratings:
“Season two of Fuller House averaged a 2.01 rating among adults 18-49 in live-plus three ratings — measuring viewing within three days of the show’s Dec. 9 premiere. That’s down 62% from the 5.30 rating averaged by the show’s first season. The season-two premiere drew a 3.32 rating, down 67% from the season-two premiere’s 10.16 rating.”
It was also reported that only 9% of the viewers that watched the season one premiere of Fuller House returned for the second season.

Fuller House is for sure one of the most watched Netflix Originals. I don’t think fans should be worried. Besides, the second season just have been released. It’s not fair you just say the show won’t get a 3rd season without giving it some time. This is not FTA television.
My kids love the original and season 1 and 2 of Fuller House. I hope they do a season 3 with more of the original cast involved.
I think the only people that have the right numbers are Netflix. I’m personally watching Fuller House as slow as I did the first season… Right now Netflix has a tremendous amount of ‘Originals’ they’ve released so people will get around to it. Netflix doesn’t have to worry about traditional Nielsen Ratings anyway, long term means the same for them as short term. The OA was just released and I know for a fact that once people are through with that they’ll have time for stuff like Fuller House, which is much less ‘must see tv’
I thought season 2 of Fuller House was so much better than season 1. But There has to be a season 3 so that DJ and Steve get back together and have their happily ever after. I will always support Full House or any Full House sequel.
