CBS is making another move ahead of the return of several of its popular 2020-21 shows. The series is shortening the season of several of its shows, including NCIS: Los Angeles, The Neighborhood, Blue Bloods, Bull, Magnum P.I., NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, and SEAL Team.
NCIS: Los Angeles and The Neighborhood will each air 18 episodes, and the rest have had their episode counts lowered to 16 episodes, per Deadline.
CBS is still in talks with outside studios about the number of installments for Mom, Young Sheldon, Bob Hearts Abishola, B Positive, All Rise, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and SWAT. The Unicorn had an initial 13-episode order and will stay at that number.
The pandemic shut down and shortened seasons last spring, so it is not a complete surprise that the same has happened this season, especially with delayed returns for CBS and the other networks.

I always love watching Blueblood, it’s a great programs for any family to watch and clean nice shows, people enjoy this shows, really would love this show to continue and please don’t cancel it. Thank you.
We need good TV series now more than ever, we are stuck isolated from others. Please do not shorten Blue Bloods or Bull, they are absolute best and leave a positive good feeling after watching. Shorten or get rid of junk game and reality shows.
The viewing public wait to see their shows from season to season, I think they should keep the length of the season the way it is and shorten the re runs…………..
It is ridiculous to cut any of the NCIS’s and blue bloods. They are the best shows on television. Every time a good show comes on you guys mess around and mess things up. Why don’t you leave it alone. There are alt of shows that could be modified but not these ones. Thank you
Blue Bloods is the only CBS show we watch, so if that’s what they do, they’ll lose us! ridiculous
Renew the shows they are all good. Sorry they will be shorter,but miss them. This pandemic is tough but we all will get through this.
Ridiculous. So they are going to start back in November, show a couple new ones, then reruns again and then a few new ones then it will be the end of the season. We are suppose to con’t being loyal fans? Right now more than ever we need good TV, since we are stuck at home and the networks are giving us re runs.
I hate to see Blue Bloods season shorted. We have lots of junk that could be deleted.
I hate to see them shorten any of their shows. With the pandemic, watching TV is a great pass time. Love all those shows.
Please leave NCIS/NCIS New Orleans and Bull , these are such terrific shows!

No I’m not surprised at all with everything going on, but it seems a bit ridiculous to me.
Ive been watching NCIS and Blue Bloods for years. NCIS has a fan base in an article I read. It’s considered the world’s most watched show. It’s 1 of the longest running show and CBS should leave it alone. One I’f the best shows ever. To do that 2a show that has been on all these years is crazy. There’s a reason it’s had over 100 episodes. I forget his real name but they need to get Anthony Denoso back. Bull doesn’t suit him.
