Somewhere, Dr. Phil is smiling. CBS has renewed its Bull TV show for a third season. Although the ratings fell some in the sophomore season, the series remains a top performers for the Tiffany Network, so the renewal was expected.
A CBS legal drama, Bull stars Michael Weatherly, Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, Christopher Jackson, Dena Tyler, Jill Flint, and Eliza Dushku. The series centers on the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Weatherly) — a character inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw. In heading the team at his Trial Analysis Corporation, Bull combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick.

The second season of Bull is averaging a 1.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.57 million viewers. Compared to season one, it’s down by about 17% and down by 7%, respectively. Find out how Bull stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV series? Did you think CBS would cancel or renew it for season three?
My favorite show is Bull. I’m so happy it will continue. I hope for years to come.
My wife and I love Bull Please not cancel Please !
the first series took a while to find its feet and for the writers and cast to get comfortable. The opening line, early on, “and that’s no bull” was childish and demeaning. After they got rid of that I think that the writers/producers found out what they were into. My only disappointment is that a number of the stories get truncated rather clumsily. Going from closing arguments directly into jury verdict isn’t real at all, there should be a “pre-mortem” discussion that sets up the result, either predictably or surprisingly. It has the feeling of counting to 10, but missing… Read more »
I am happy that CBS has renewed Bull for a 3rd season
I find it to be a very good and spellbinding series
Me too!
Me, too! It’s my favorite show. 🙂
I adore “Bull” please keep it going on and on! Michael Wetherly is so great in this show, I loved him in NCIS, but may even like him better as Bull.
This is one of my favorite shows and would hate to see it cancelled. Its one of the more substantial shows that draws you into it.
Please renew this show. I lie watching it. It is a lot different then other shows.
Please don’t cancel this show. I enjoy watching it. Please renew this show.
Great show because it is Very thought provoking while still being entertaining. Helps to fill the void between the sublime and the ridiculous.
Bull is my favorite Tv Show. Michael Weatherley is great just as he was in NCIS
The finale was amazing – with Mel Carter’s great song and the feeling that Bull still has for his ex actually made me cry. !!
A clever, smart show. Glad it’s coming back.
Bull is my favorite Tuesday show. Hope it stays for a long time.
Love Bull. When he had the heart attack, I was afraid the show was ending. So glad it’s not.
SO excited this has been renewed for season 3
This is a typical CBS procedural drama, so not a surprise. Myself, I find the show too simplistic and cookie cutter, again how CBS likes them. I like more substance to my shows.
My husband and I can’t wait for Tuesday evenings because of this tv show, Bull.
Every single time we watch it, we are amazed at the writing and the cast. Both excellent! Way beyond most shows peddled by these networks.
Love, love, love this show and prayed network would renew. Thank you.
