HGTV Renews Mother/Daughter Home Reno Series ‘Good Bones’NEW YORK — HGTV has greenlighted a second season of its popular home renovation and flipping series, Good Bones. The series stars the dynamic mother/daughter duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak as they buy homes in serious disrepair—sometimes gut them to the studs—and transform them into stunning remodels. Good Bones, which currently airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, has attracted more than 14 million viewers since its premiere on Tuesday, March 22. The 12-episode second season is scheduled to premiere in January 2017.
“Family units tackling major home renovations are hugely popular on our air, but what’s compelling about Good Bones is that we see an incredibly talented mother and daughter, who also happen to light up the screen, work together to complete renovations that improve an entire community,” said Allison Page, general manager, HGTV and DIY Network.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Good Bones TV series? Do you plan to watch the second season?
My wife and I both love this show, and that’s hard to come by in our house. We’d love to see a third season.
I watched the first series – every episode then was watching the second series and all ov a sudden no show – WHY? Our TV guide doesn’t list HGTV so one just has to clc to dee what comes up and no matter what time or evening I click I cannot find GOOD BONES – very sad – when will they be back?
I was watching Good Bones on Tuesday at 10 PM next thing it is not there but all those goofy Memphis Montanta Atlana show with no connection is on. Good thing Nicole is coming back.
Love the show, wish it was on earlier in evening.
Love the show. We like they they are revitalizing the homes not just flipping. Also fun to watch the family interact. Looking forward to season 2.
I really like the style of this show. The mother, daughter thing is okay but mom try’s WAY too hard. Really tasteful, practical work. Glad to see this style of renovation attitude. Cut some of the time spent on canned laugh, gets old fast… mom is great side kick when not overly goofy. Love each project.
Love the show. Where can i buy that butterfly picture on the ad
Good Bones best show on HGTV!
Need to lose the marathon shows, fixer upper, flip and flop, sooooo sick of them and their faceless. This show and The Brothers and House Hunters and House Hunter renovation are the best thing going on HGTV!
Great show! I really enjoy it. Family affair. I love them taking something old in disrepair and making it new again. I love it….
Please help! My sons and I had to live in a domestic violence shelter then with relatives to stay safe we were separated for awhile because when the judge gave us the house my ex flooded it before going to jail making it impossible for my kids to live in, so I slept in a chair in my room while my kids with relatives, I’ve done most of the repairs but it looks so ugly after I tried to paint it myself I’ve been struggling to make it a home for them but we don’t even hang out together in… Read more »
This and Listed Sister and two of my favorite rehab shows. Of course, living in Waco, Texas I certainly love Fixer Upper, but I think Good Bones is my all time favorite.
I love this show. Hurry back
I hope it comes back. Good bones has helped me fix stuff around my house. And a big funny it has helped my wife and I to be together as a family. Example Karen and Mina. So horray for the Good Bones team.
