What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Law & Order: SVU stars Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Kelli Giddish, and Peter Scanavino. Created by Dick Wolf, the police procedural series centers on Lt. Olivia Benson (Hargitay) and her elite squad of New York City Police Department detectives that includes Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola (T), Detective Amanda Rollins (Giddish), and Detective Dominick “Sonny” Carisi (Scanavino). They investigate crimes including sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence.
Season 21 Ratings

I would be highly upset as this series is a series I’ve watched over five times from beginning to end…. why cancel something so good and relatable to real life situations Idc do not cancel LAW AND ORDER SVU!!!!! Ever !!!! Keep it coming as long as there’s a story line!!!
I would be very upset if Law and Order SVU got cancelled. I am a long time fan and can’t see how this show has any bearing on what’s going on in our world today. There have always been good cops and bad with or without a tv show like this that does not promote police brutality at all. Also, it’s a personal choice and a constitutional right to watch what we want on tv.
I have loved SVU since its conception I never missed an episode and most I’ve watched a few times. People watch tv for an escape from their life something to focus attention to. I don’t think it should be canceled due to recent police issues. They need to start by requiring cops to receive a lot more hours of training. There are good cops out there who can mirror the character Olivia Benson and their are bad cops out there. Please don’t take away one of the shows a absolutely never miss.

What is Ice-T’s opinion on canceling the show…(great black actor)? They might a well cancel all tv, because there’s going to be something on every channel that someone doesn’t like. People need to learn how to change the channel, if they don’t like said show. BET CHANNEL, is a “black” channel they can watch, and it has some great shows. This is why there are several networks and channel choices (freedom to choose). Don’t cancel re-runs or upcoming season.
I hope svu sticks around. It’s ine of the only shows that shows us not all cops are bad and not all cops are good.
I was wondering when season 22 of law and order SVU will air? Or do we not know yet?
This isn’t a show for kids. It can be disturbing for some viewers, that why in the beginning it says viewer discretion is advised.
This show is so disturbing I get depressed just watching the commercials for it. THis stuff screws with kids heads and should be banned from TV.
What? That’s like saying that the news should be banned because it makes people scared and worried. Reality isn’t nice Michael, don’t hide it from kids and make reality so much harder for them.
Dont stop SVU best show ever made keep them coming
I’ve been a fan of SVU from Season 1-21. Don’t cancel! Dick Wolf has the perfect formula. It’s professional and classy, and has helped so many real life survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. There aren’t that many producers, writers, directors and actors that can accomplish such a feat, but Law and Order SVU continues to do just that, year after year.
