WGN America is still pretty new to producing their own original dramas so it was unclear how bad the ratings would have to be before they cancelled a show. Now that they’ve cancelled Manhattan, we have a better idea. Will Outsiders be the second to go or, will it be renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A drama series, Outsiders is set in the rugged hills of Appalachia and follows the Farrell clan. They are a tight-knit family of renegades who have lived atop Shay Mountain for over two hundred years and are at odds with those who live outside of their community. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

The Outsiders is awesome! It definately shouldn’t be cancelled. Everywhere I go and everyone I speak to has wonderful things to say about the show. It’s a great crew and cast to work for and I’m looking forward to filming Season 2.

PLEASE renew OUTSIDERS!!!! Best show on television! They need to remember that Sons of Anarchy didn’t do so great in the beginning. If FX hadn’t had the balls to stick with the show, they would have thrown away one of their MOST SUCCESSFUL shows the network ever had!

I hope you don’t cancel this show. The first couple of episodes were slow going, but it has really picked up and is becoming one of my favorite shows. Ryan Hurst does a great job, in fact the whole cast is great. Please don’t cancel this series, give it time to develop and promote it more.
i like the outsider, it may be new, but as far as it gose. no one has gave it time to see what will happen. it could be as good as the son
