What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Paramount+ subscription service, the SEAL Team TV show stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks. The military action-adventure series centers on an exclusive Navy SEAL unit as they train for, plan, and risk their very lives to carry out perilous missions for the sake and honor of their country. Fierce and focused Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) leads the Tier One team. Despite the hardship it causes them and their families, this SEAL team is ready, willing, and able to embark upon secret missions at the drop of a hat. Team members include Jason’s trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown Jr.); loyal yet self-destructive Sonny Quinn (Buckley); and young Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a multilingual and second-generation SEAL. No-nonsense DEVGRU Intelligence Officer Lisa Davis (Trucks) is assigned primarily to Bravo Team.
Season Five Ratings
On CBS during the 2021-22 season, the first four episodes of the fifth season of SEAL Team averaged a 0.39 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 19% in the demo and down by 12% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
On CBS during the 2023-24 season, the remaining episodes of the fifth season of SEAL Team averaged a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.55 million viewers. Compared to season four, (which aired back in 2020 and 2021), that’s down by 72% in the demo and down by 60% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. Find out how SEAL Team stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
SEAL Team drew low ratings in its fourth and final season on CBS and my understanding is that it was set to be cancelled. Instead, the execs renewed SEAL Team as an exclusive on Paramount+. It performed well enough on the streamer to be renewed for two more years. Season seven is the end. I don’t expect CBS to keep airing the series but, you never know. I personally don’t like the idea the big shots decided to switch it to Paramount+ (paid subscription) instead of leaving it on CBS, I believe it’s all about them getting money from the public.

I love Seal Team, but refuse to get Paramount+ to keep watching. Not worth the extra coins to watch a few episodes a year. Goodbye Seal Team.
If they plan to cancel it , tell me now .. I wont purchase paramount+ and I won’t bother even getting into season 4 at all .. do the right thing and show a commitment.. your asking me and several Million fans of the show to commit to P+ .. the least you could do is commit to season 5 ..

I’ve love Seal Yeam but will not pay to watch it on Paramount+. Shame on cable for now wanting to charge us for a show we watched on CBS for 4 seasons. Not fair.
IF SEAL TEAM is canceled I will immediately CANCEL my Paramount + subscription. It is the only reason why I subscribed. And there is NOTHING further worthy to watch on CBS so good bye ch. 2 as well. Seal Team is nothing less than OUTSTANDING

U got our interest in seals team now u pull plug on us by cancelation it on CBS cable then u took 1st expose off 4 weather reports now u want u@ stay up.till 1100pm Saturday to watch I guess we might well get used not having it on u could found a better time slot to replay 1st Esposito instead of 1100pm Saturday I loved show but iam not paying for it on streaming when TV go straight streaming I guess I’ll just watch my tapes I have the news will only thing I’ll miss
