Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) are best friends, roommates, and brilliant physicists at CalTech. They understand how the universe works but have little interest in the people around them.
That begins to change when an attractive young waitress and wanna-be actress, Penny (Kaley Cuoco), moves into the apartment across the hall. Leonard becomes immediately smitten with the free-spirited girl and tries to forge a relationship with her, much to the confusion and consternation of Sheldon.
The geniuses’ equally geeky coworkers are smarmy Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and Rajesh Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar), an immigrant from India who finds it difficult to talk to most females.
Over time, other characters are introduced, like waitress Bernadette Rostenkowski (Melissa Rauch), scientist Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik), and comic book store owner Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman).
Episode #279 — The Stockholm Syndrome
Bernadette and Wolowitz leave their kids for the first time; Penny and Leonard try to keep a secret; Sheldon and Amy stick together; and Koothrappali makes a new friend, as the gang travels together into an uncharted future.
First aired: May 16, 2019.
What do you think? Do you like The Big Bang Theory TV show? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a 13th season?
Definitely renew. Love this programme and all the characters just gel.
keep it going. They are growing up lets roll with it 🙂
Keep The Big Bang Theory show on, It’s GREAT.
Love TBBT!! I can’t wait for new episodes and constantly catch the syndication. I think it is spot on for its humor and the way it’s presented. This series, like some others, makes you feel like you are with good friends that are quirky, unique and a whole lot of fun. Wish there were more shows like this and less reality TV. Glad to hear about the renewal and pay those girls what they deserve, same as the rest of the cast! Be an example!
We’ve been watching since the very first episode and while I HATE Sheldon I love the show and some actual intelligent humor for a change. Please keep it around. I can fast forward through him. LOL
Best Sit Com on TV
I absolutely adore this show. i have watched it from the beginning and its become a week day ritual in my home to watch it every night at 7. If it gets cancelled it would be a major downer to my whole family and it would really make me sad. It is a creative work of genius and I especially love the personification of the character Sheldon Cooper. It is totally believable and realistic with his gullibility and naieve tendencies even though he is a scientific genius at such a young age. PLEASE DONT CANCEL OUR FAVORITE SHOW AND REASON… Read more »
BEST SIT-COM ON TV! At least it’s not another stupid reality show!! I’ll be soooo glad when the (scripted) “reality” shows go away. I can’t believe they’ve lasted this long. TV today is trash. MTV has no music, the discoveries don’t discover crap except surviving, etc… I remember getting home from school, doing homework and watching shows that were actually about nature, animals, relics, etc… Now it’s 20 different shows about living in Alaska!!! I sooo miss the tv of the 80’s & 90’s!! The only channel that has actual programming that relates to its name is Investigative Discovery and… Read more »
i totally don’t understand this show. It’s not even funny. It should be cancelled.
Used to be a great show. Now not so much. The characters have grown way past what is possible in real life and we are just waiting for everyone to move in together and sing kumbaya. Have you ever been to college with real true genius? I have. They don’t have the capacity.
Tried once for first 3 seasons, and just didn’t get it. Popularity must b in edgy sexual innuendo, promoting alternative lifestyles, and occasional just goofy behavior. Give me FRIENDS any day. This was lacking in creative writing that mediocre acting unable to support. Just my opinion
@Mac Actually this show has a UCLA Physics professor as a consultant. The show brings up the latest fields of physics and its research in a humorous way. Its not a show for ppl who like grade school toilet humor or for ppl who think characters being dumber than rock are some how funny (ie Friends)…
Ive watched every episode and love the program. I hope the cast and writers can keep it together for many seasons to come. i can see no reason for anyone to walk away while the BIG BANG magic is still there. As long as the key players can keep their wits and realize there is more to the show than just their part, I can see many seasons to come.
This show can go on for a while if they all have kids and live in the same neighborhood and their kids grow up together as genius. I have adored this show since it’s beginning and cannot fathom it ending. I love this show
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE TBBT!!!! I was told about it LONG ago by a friend who couldn’t quit laughing telling me to watch it. I thought it would be kinda squirrely, but have LOVED it ever since. I am probably pretty nerdy. I LOVE Star Trek — all incarnations — Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Harry Potter, etc. and would HATE to see TBBT go off the air. I watch it every chance I get on every channel it appears on.
Please let it go on!
Think it should one more season
