What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, All Rise stars Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Marg Helgenberger, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez, Ruthie Ann Miles, Lindsay Gort, and Audrey Corsa. The series follows the chaotic, hopeful (and sometimes absurd) world of those who work at a courthouse in Los Angeles. At the center of this drama series is Lola Carmichael (Missick), a recently appointed judge who was previously a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney. She depends on the counsel of people like her Deputy District Attorney Mark Callan (Bethel), Supervisory Judge Lisa Benner (Helgenberger), and pragmatic judicial assistant Sherri Kansky (Miles). Lola pushes the boundaries and challenges the expectations of what a judge can be and receives both support and pushback from those around her.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of All Rise averaged a 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.96 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 27% in the demo and down by 27% in viewership. Find out how All Rise stacks up against other CBS TV shows.
All Rise was cancelled but was later revived by OWN for a third season which will debut on June 7, 2022. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew All Rise for season three? This show was one of the network’s lowest-rated series but it was renewed anyway and the numbers haven’t gotten better. It doesn’t help that the series is produced by an outside studio and it doesn’t help that the creator/showrunner recently departed over misconduct allegations. I’m leaning toward a cancellation. 5/16/21 update: All Rise has been cancelled by CBS so there won’t be a third season.
9/30/21 update: OWN has revived All Rise for a third season.

Why does CBS constantly cancel good shows? I don’t understand their reasoning.
Why cancel a good show that is so socially relevant about today’s world? Ratings shouldn’t be the end all be all for a show. Quality of it’s entertainment & positivity of it’s message should count too.
Best new show this past year. Writing is terrific & cast members are great. Both my husband & I want to see it continue. Bad decision to cancel it.
I am so upset. This was my favorite show with amazing acting and writing. I do hope someone else picks it up

I enjoy this show. If I’ve missed an episode, I’d stream it , the next morning, on CBS All Access. The season finale is next Monday. There’s nothing else in that time slot that I’d watch.

It does seem like that
One of the best shows on TV. Good content,excellent actors , good character development and dealt with current real issues with compassion. If this show gets replaced by another trashy reality show, I will never watch CBS again.
I sincerely hope All Rise is renewed. I really enjoy the show. The storyline is not only enjoyable but identifies actual issues we face in our judicial system. There is also a nice balance between personal matters and the legal storyline. I have really enjoyed this show and would hate to see it cancelled.
I love all rise please do not take it off because it will make me very upset every show I like they take off but they keep the dumb on like Malcolm in the Middle young Sheldon but do stay on but the shows that we all like they take off so please do not take this show off I love Lola Carmichael she’s with a judge is all about and they all should be like her I love Sharon she makes me laugh I love the whole crew they’re all are awesome I’m looking forward to watching season 3… Read more »

This show continues to remind us about the inequalities found in the judicial system and the need for change. I hope especially now that this show will continue.

All Rise is a great show and I hope it continues. I’ve been waiting impatiently for the next episode.
The viewership is most probably down because we don’t know when it’s coming on. There
has been no consistency with new shows and too many reruns. It’s a good show and needs to stay on the air.
