Law & Order: SVU has a big return planned for its next new episode. Richard Belzer will return to the NBC series on the May 4 episode, and NBC has now released the first photo of Belzer’s return as Detective John Munch. The photo features him and Ice-T.

Munch will return to the Special Victims Unit to help the team with an old case. A young model will claim she was attacked by her photographer, and it is a man that Munch and Fin, who is played by Ice-T, investigated in the past.

Belzer said the following about returning to the series, according to TV Insider:

“It was like a family reunion. I felt like I never left. Being with Mariska [Hargitay] and Ice T again was truly a dream come true.”
