What’s This TV Show About?

Airing on the Pop cable channel, Nightcap stars Alexandra Wentworth, Lauren Blumenfeld, Jason Tottenham, Don Fanelli, Jacob Wallach, Cherie Corinne Rice, Jeff Hiller, Karl Gregory, Brendan Clifford, and Ashley Park. A single camera comedy, the Nightcap TV show features a blended cast of improv actors and real celebrities. Each episode covers the moments leading up to the live broadcast of a fictional late-night talk show, Nightcap with Jimmy.
 

Telly’s Take

It’s not so easy to get ratings for TV shows on smaller cable outlets, like Pop. Flying blind though, I still expect Nightcap is more likely to be renewed for a third season, rather than cancelled. Pop is trying to fortify its scripted slate and Nightcap has a knack for attracting marquee-name guest stars. I’ll keep an eye on things will update this page as we learn more.
