In the first round of this “smackdown” game, we asked you to make a difficult choice. From a list of more than 30 TV shows that could potentially be cancelled this season, you could vote for only one.
Interestingly, though all series have their fans, some shows didn’t get very many votes at all. When viewers have to choose only one, these got the short end of the stick ‘Til Death, Brothers, the forgotten, and Past Life only received votes totaling in the single digits. Past Life has been cancelled already and the other three almost certainly won’t be returning next season either.
Conversely, six other TV shows are clear favorites. Better Off Ted, Castle, Chuck, Fringe, Medium, and Trauma all received a high percentage of the 1,600 votes cast.

Well, now it’s time to move on to the next round of the game. We’ve taken the top six shows from the first round and now you get to vote again. Hopefully round two will be easier than the first.
As always, you can vote only once. At the end of this round, we’ll take the top two programs and ask you to choose again. By the end of round three we’ll have a winner and know which “bubble ” you’d like to see saved most.

Please keep “Castle” on the air. It is a breath of fresh air that provides the viewer to have “feel good” character interactions without having to be subjected to abusive or vulgar putdowns that are so evident in many other shows that are on TV. Too many shows are created for shock value or so-called realism that really are not true to the average person’s life. I truly appreciate the generational characters in “Castle” and their often humourous perspectives when dealing with both serious and moral values. Castle is funny and smart. I love this show. I look forward to each and every Monday.
Why would you cancel this show? What’s not to like? The cases are interesting. The characters are interesting. Again, what’s not to like? I watched the current, new line-up tonight, which will not keep me looking forward to Monday night TV.
I am so angry that accidently on purpose might be canceled. I love the show, it just started and they are already giving it the boot. Please keep the show on!!! Do not want to watch reality garbage!!!!

This one was actually really difficult. Of all the shows on the list, far and away my favorite is Chuck, but I have a strong feeling it’ll be safe for another season. Same goes for Castle, really. Better Off Ted is probably my least favorite of the three (which admittedly isn’t saying much since they’re all great) but definitely in the most danger of being cancelled, so it gets my vote.

Castle is my all time favorite show. It’s a modern day “Moonlighting” I loved that show also! I look forward to it every week
Castle and Trauma are two very different shows, but both exellent! Trauma is a fresh hospital show with no other like it. Real characters played by good actors!! Castle is every bit as good, just a different genre…neither should be cancelled. Although The Forgotten didn’t make this round, it too has a great premise and is always interesting. They should, howwever, get rid of the dark haired woman who can’t act!
Trauma is a good show and I don’t know why it is being cancelled. Probably because it is expensive with all the equipment needed i.e. helicopters. I liked The Unit too and it was cancelled. Please, please save us from all the reality shows. I don’t care who loses how much weight, or who was fired, or who is the current bachelor looking for love (in all the wrong places.)
Trauma needs to stay I an so tired of all these dumm sitcoms lets have something good on tv to watch and trauma is it.
Trauma is a terrific show! ! ! It may be cancelled if the ratings do not improve. The Bay Area is hoping for a miracle———–be smart NBC and please keep filming up here !
I am just really tired of EVERYTHING being cancelled. Really what is the point to start watching anything anymore. Nothing last but stupid crap like all these reality shows. P.S. people we live real life everday so let’s watch something different than reality shows that are faked anyway!!! Where is the reality in that???
castle and the forgotten should be saved both are really good shows they keep ya guessing.
I don’t care when you put Better off Ted on TV I will watch it…this is the best thing on TV right now!!! PLEASE restore my faith in networks by keeping this show on!!!
Castle and The Forgotten should be saved. They are really good. I have heard though that all the shows that are aired on ABC are really good. They should all be given a second chance.
