It looks like CBS isn’t rushing to finish the first and only season of Rush Hour. For the next two weeks, at least, the cancelled series is being replaced by Code Black on Thursday nights.
Last week, we reported CBS had cancelled Rush Hour after only seven episodes. The series stars Justin Hires and Jon Foo as two mismatched police officers.
On their schedule, CBS has replaced both tonight’s scheduled episode of Rush Hour and next week’s with episodes of the medical drama Code Black. TVInsider reports the cop drama will return to air its remaining episodes beginning July 23rd at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Check out the revised schedule for tonight and next week below:
What do you think? Do you watch Rush Hour? Are you interested in seeing the remaining episodes?
Just when I get a dvr to record the show! Maybe another network will pick it up.
Soooo disappointing. I loved Rush Hour!! CBS y’all don’t know AWESOME when you get it 🙁
This was a good show! I’m so tired of networks canceling good funny/entertaining shows.
This was a fun show, I really got into it…what is wrong with you cbs? You did this with Stalker, too. Rush hour was something different so of course you have to cancel it! Hopefully enough people will be upset & you’ll bring it back
I strongly agree with Kerry why did they cancel rush our i loved it. Also Stalker was great dont know y the cancelled it.
Well, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. CBS seems to be in the habit of dumping good shows that many viewers obviously like only to replace them with crap. Examples include Jericho, Moonlight, The Unit, Cold Case, Without A Trace & others. Some were only on briefly; others were on for a few years. Most of them didn’t even get a chance to write a proper ending. I’m truly surprised there is anything left for my family & me to enjoy. I am so disappointed with CBS. I’m sure some people think I should “get a life” rather than gripe… Read more »
replacing awesome tv shows with crappy one? seriously?
It’s a real shame such a great show that was getting better every week. Because of that I will no longer watch anything on cbs. Big bang theory, mom, odd couple all my favorite shows will no longer be seen in my home. Good work cbs
Really sad to cancel a great show. My 16 1/2 yr old son and I looked forward to watching this show. It was our family time. Very sad CBS. He used to say he loved CBS. What a disappointment.
Yes, I watch “Rush Hour.”!!! But, since CBS has decided to replace it with another one of their CRAP shows, Code Black, I guess I would be watching ANYTHING on that channel. Rush Hour had interesting stories and the chemistry between its characters was GREAT. I didn’t expect much at first because it was based on a movie but it surprised me. It not only entertains me but the antics of the main characters makes me laugh. SHAME on you, CBS!!!
It’s thanks to stupid idiots in places like imdb that review movies and series based on prejudice
It was a fun, entertaining show. I understand it being cancelled if ratings wernt there, but don’t get why cbs couldn’t let the show finish. Waiting til the end of July is dumb. It’s summer. Nobody’s watching TV now anyway!
This is so disappointing. Despite a weak pilot the show has surprised me. I have been really enjoying the show and hoping that any flaws would be ironed out. The show has been going along nicely only to be cancelled before the season even finishes. And now we have to wait two months for the rest of the episodes?
I really like the show. It was different from so many other shows
Yes, show the already made episodes. At least they are new.
Just like Person of Interest – CBS are treating shows like rubbish!
