What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on The CW television network, the Walker TV show stars Jared Padalecki, Ashley Reyes, Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Molly Hagan, Violet Brinson, Kale Culley, Coby Bell, Jeff Pierre, and Odette Annable. Texas Ranger Cordell Walker (Padalecki) is a widower and father who has his own moral code. He returns home to Austin, Texas after being undercover for nearly a year. He tries to reconnect with his son August (Culley) and daughter Stella (Brinson), as well as his brother Liam (Allen) and parents Abeline (Hagan) and Bonham (Pileggi). At work, Walker’s former colleague Larry James (Bell) is now his Ranger Captain. In season three, Walker is being held captive by an anarchist group who is determined to break him. He must face a painful memory from his past he’s never shared with anyone and team up with an unexpected ally, Julia (Anna Enger), if he wants to get out alive.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Walker averaged a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 690,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings (includes all DVR playback through 3:00 AM). Compared to season two, that’s down by 21% in the demo and down by 24% in viewership. While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are usually renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. Will The CW cancel or renew Walker for season four? Though the network is now owned by Nexstar, this show still feels like a good fit for The CW. Walker is geared to attract a broad audience, and Nexstar CEO Perry Sook and CW president Dennis Miller are said to be fans of the series. I think Walker has a good chance of being renewed. To be really honest, Walker 2021 is by far the best show on The CW Network and same goes for The Winchesters. Jared and Jensen knows how to treat shows the right way and not make them WOKE. This is what we all wanted. Until The CW Network airs Gotham Knights and i hope Gotham Knights gets cancelled and if it is….then The CW Network will shift blame that they cannot renew Walker for a 4th season. We like Walker show except for Walker and his stuttering speech cadence. It’s very distracting. Other than that pretty good show
Please have Walker stop the stuttering and odd facial expressions! The rest of the cast is awesome. He’s always chewing the scenery! The show has potential if he could relax and look more normal. He’s starting to make us cringe with the overacting.

The CW has stated that they were holding a poll for a couple shows to stay in the 2023-24 season and I’d say Walker can do with a season 4,give it a season 5 to round out the series and conclude it, Walker independence could stay for a season 2 but I don’t see it going for too long and finally, The Winchesters the series being a prequel to Supernatural a CW staple should definitely return for at least a few more seasons but it shouldn’t go on for 15 plus seasons like the original did.

Walker feels like a staple for The CW now given that. supernatural has ended back in 2020, The CW needs a new series to helm the staple board and I say that Jared Padalecki’s Walker can serve as The CW’s new staple given the show’s popularity, so I think it goes without further question that Walker deserves to stay for a 4th season as well as a 5th.There’s so much they can do with Cordell now that the original series touched on but never truly utilized. CONTINUE WALKER.
I love Walker! It should be renewed. Love the characters! Walker needs to be less awkward in the following seasons. He’s a Texas Ranger and with that comes a certain confidence! Get rid of the stammer too! He should have a toughness from life experiences!

Jared Padalecki is the King of the CW according to his fans – talk about damning with very faint praise! Keep him there, please!
Padalecki has to be one of the least-emoting actors I’ve ever seen. He’s as stiff as a board and brings nothing to the table IMO.
