Michael Weatherly had a long and successful run on NCIS but left the series last season. He’s back on CBS in his own series called Bull. Will it also be a ratings success? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show revolves around the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly). He combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. His team members are played by Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/23 update: Bull has been renewed for season two on CBS. Details here.
5/24 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV show on CBS? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for second season?
Don’t like this show. Maybe he should shave. But it has too narrow of a premise to continue to draw viewers
I have watched the original NCIS since it began. Its a great show, and the
Tony Character was one of the best and made that show great. Since
Michael Weatherly has left and started the BULL series, it is just BULL.
He left a successful show, in which he had a great character and started this new show and I am totally disappointed. I cannot get interested in his new show
Bull. I think the plots of the show are so scattered, it does not hold interest.
Sorry Michael, but think you made a mistake with the change.
This show ” Bull ” should be cancelled. It truly desires excitement
I think if it did not follow NCIS. It would already be cancelled
Move NCIS-NO to 9pm. Move Bull to 10. I have to record NO, and I didnt like Bull. And he needs to shave. Can’t stand scruffy looking men!
The show is the same old same old every week. You know what the outcome will always be. Michael needs to go back to ncis or get picked up on another investigative show. Thats where he shines.
Agreed I like him as a cop.
Cancel. He needs someone to play off of. Rewrite him back into NCIS ziva too!
Watched it one time, after that one viewing I change the channel.
Love the show! Please renew!
I think this program is “bulls__. How narcissistic can you be to develope a tv show of your life. Dr Phil does too much time promoting his books, Dr on Demand, Robin’s skin care products. I did not like the show and I watched the first 5 episodes and it was just. I’m tired of watching DR PHIL’s show whenever he is doing a sales pitch for his own benefit. Very disappointed!
Renew please fantastic show!
Please leave Bull on. We love that show. Watch every week. Like the stories.
I am very much enjoying the show — the mind games he plays are intriguing. I feel those not liking the show perhaps don’t get the psychology behind it. Michael Weatherly does a wonderful job of creating a new character, not an agent at all. I love NCIS and the very special agent Anthony Dinozzo, but I do feel Bull is a character that still brings the Weatherly charm. Please continue the show.
Please renew. One of my favorites.
Please renew. Love the show!
