Each television season brings lots of different kinds of TV shows but there’s one thing that remains a constant — most of them will end up being cancelled.

What do you think? Have any of your favorite shows been cancelled? Which ones are you sorry to see end?
I am really really upset for losing intelligence, star-crossed, the tomorrow people- wich was getting better.
I’m upset at the cancellation of SCiFy series, Star-Crossed , Revolution, and The Tomorrow People. why do networks other than SCiFy get a good SCiFy series and then ditch them! SCiFy channel should pick them up–where they should have been aired in the first place.
I love love love Drop Dead Diva…. Good, clean fun. I am sorry it will not be back on our screens. It was particularly watchable, because Jane was a normal looking woman with an average body, not a lollypop girl, whose head is bigger than the rest of the body and whose face is so botoxed, one can’t see the top lip moving …..
I will miss Almost Human, Intelligence, The Tomorrow People and Revolution but I was really broadsided by the cancellation of Raising Hope – a sweet show with a wonderful, quirky cast and great writing that I would rather watch any day instead of stuff like Two and a Half Men or The Big Bang Theory. Fare thee well Maw Maw! I’m still stunned that the wonderful Goldbergs made it to season 2 along with the fabulous (and underwatched) TURN. Still hoping that Halt and Catch Fire gets another season.
Hey, great list but you guys have forgotten The Killing. The fourth and final season was released through Netflix on the 1st August.
Thanks for the note. I’m not sure why it wasn’t on there already.
You all need to add “Kitchen Nightmares” to the list because it got cancelled back in May.
Thanks. In June, Ramsay announced it was ending but it will be on FOX this fall. Because of that, it will be on the 2014-15 list.
@admin
You forgot to add “Those Who Kill” to the list.
Thanks
Disney Channel’s Shake It Up is also not coming back for a fourth season.
It’s actually on the 2012-13 cancelled list. I put it on that list because they announced the show was over in July 2013 and had just a few episodes left. I didn’t expect them to take so long to air the final episodes. Thanks.
We can only hope HBO will cancel The Leftovers. What a dud!!
The Leftovers is great! I’m surprised Trophy Wife was cancelled I really liked it. XFactor didn’t work because of the stupid judges. That’s why Idol is so ****, should be called the JLO show…she’s a loser!
I was sorry to see Growing up Fisher being cancelled, I was looking on the web to see if I could find out why we have been missing it now I know. I wished that the networks had a better way of telling what program is being watched!!! They have a tendency to program new show against shows that have already made the grade and the new ones never get viewed. I also was unhappy to see that Raising Hope was on the chopping board that to was a good comedy. I wish they would consider trying Growing up Fisher… Read more »
I will hate to see a few shows go: The Carrie Diaries, Star Crossed, Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, I Wanna Marry Harry, and Drop Dead Diva. I wanted to see the fake Harry story play out, and I’ve followed Drop Dead Diva since the beginning. It’s one of my favs. I get frustrated when I just become addicted to a new show and then it’s cancelled. It seems to happen a lot.
Once upon a time in wonderland was NOT cancelled. It ended. Crisis was NOT cancelled.
It ended. These shows were not supposed to go on indefinitely.
i love incredible crew
I really hated to see these go: Believe, Crisis, Intelligence, The Tomorrow People. It seems like every year my faves are cancelled. I was really upset with CW a couple of seasons ago when they cut “The Ringer”. You spend so much time really getting into the characters and then they are gone. It really is depressing.
NBC has a terrible habit of cancelling good entertaining shows in lieu of garbage “talent” and “reality” shows. Revolution, Crisis and Believe were good shows that just needed more effort in promotion. The people who green-lit the shows were visionaries. These shows, while not being big hits could develop solid followings. However NBC executives insist on producing copycat shows in an effort to boost overall ratings. NBC is still looking for “the big one” and in my opinion in watching NBC for over 50 years they just don’t really get it. They continue to produce good shows initially but have… Read more »
You are so right Floyd. Crisis and Believe were wonderful programs. They reached somewhat of a logical stop point that I can live with, but would have loved more. Revolution, on the other hand, just leaves us hanging and it was a very good drama. I hate getting invested in these series, and then left hanging by a network that never seems to know when they have a winner. Sometimes you just have to give it time. M*A*S*H had miserable ratings during most its first year, and rightfully so… early episodes were pretty weak. But, then look what happened. If… Read more »
I think they should have dedicated more time on series such as these tinyurl.com/m2k5y8o. Do you realize that they actually leave those series that are harming people? Look at True Blood… i will never allow my kids or myself to watch it~! It’s disgusting!
Good for you Samantha, I agree. The networks don’t get it! My family will not watch shows like True Blood, & any of the tremendous amount of blood and gore. The networks seem to be promoting violence, pain & suffering, violence & disrespect for women. Don’t you realize the harm you’re causing to society? You are glorifying the bad. Then you here the news reports of killer kids, etc. , and it is said, “How did this happen, where did they get the ideas to do the things they did, some smile when the police haul them off. Why? Because… Read more »
And by the way, studies have proven that kids who kill had authoritative controlling parents with lots of rules about what they can and can’t do watch etc. Watch out your kid may be the next serial killer. TV doesn’t make killers, parents do.
True Blood is ADULT programming so if you said you let your kids watch it then I’d be like duh but for the adults who watch this show, I’m sorry to see it ending. However it’s not ending because it has bad ratings, it’s simply how it was written. I love this show and it’s one I can watch with my husband. I’d much rather watch fake blood and gore than watch real blood and gore on the news or all these reality TV shows I can do without. By the way unless you keep your kids locked in a… Read more »
